As the dark purple night sky fell upon us, we were still laying on the trampoline. We were all extremely tired and bored, so Jake decided to go home, and Lauren was already sleeping over. We headed inside, and the phone was ringing. I answered, it was my mom. I told my mom that Lauren was here, and she said that was fine. She made sure I took Honey out, I did. She said she was going to be getting out of work by about eleven, so she wants us to make dinner tonight.  I'm used to it...

"Don't you hate having your mom gone all of the time?" Lauren asks me.

"Yeah, but I don't want to think about it. No reason to ruin our sleepover over a crummy mood."

"Alright, Cassie. But sometime we will talk about this. I want to know what's going on."

"Nothing's going on."

"I mean with you. I want to know how I can truly help. Where's your dad?"

"He's in New Jersey on a business trip. He should be back in like a week or so."

"Alright, cooleoooo." I have to chuckle at the way she talks. "So, what do you want to do?" I grabbed my speakers, my phone, and headed outside. She knew we were going outside in my yard. She had a devilish look on her face. My yard is huge, protected by electric fences. The only way you can get in my yard is through a camera system.
You have to show your face and it only recognizes me, my mom, my dad, and Lauren. Anyway, I put on today's hits on Pandora, hooked my phone to the speakers, turned up the volume and we headed onto the trampoline.

We were still outside "partying" at 1:45 in the morning. We decided to go inside, get a bunch of junk food that we bought earlier, and turn on Netflix. We watched a ton of scary movies, like Black Christmas. That movie was scariest of all. It's about a bunch of friends in a sorority house that have a Christmas party. A killer is hiding in the attic. He's been killing ever since he was a young boy, like 10 years old. If you listen to his calls to the phone downstairs, he is imitating everyone in his family when he killed his baby sister, Agnes, in her crib. He calls every time he kills someone. At the end, though, is the creepiest part of all. The cops and the last girl who survived thought the killer was her boyfriend, Peter, since he's been acting strange around her. The cops shot him, and left the girl to rest. Everyone leaves the house. They never caught the killer, so at the very end, you hear the phone ring. Jolly jee gosh, that is the scariest movie ever. My grandma says everyone rated "The Exorcist" as the scariest for years, but that is not true. Anyways, we fell asleep around 4, leaving all of the lights ON.
