Chapter 3

(3rd PoV)
"They're all going to be alright. I just took the poison out of their bodies." Zach said as his hands stopped glowing.

Erza, Juvia, Lucy, Wendy, Carla, Alice, and (Y/N) were all in the infirmary unconscious. Carla was in the same bed as Wendy and Alice was in the same bed as (Y/N).

"And your mom?" Natsu asked as he held Rini in his arms.

"She's going to be alright too. But she used up too much magic power. I'm guessing that the spell she used that permanently took away took Saria's magic away, used up way too much magic power. Considering that it's my mom, she should wake up maybe in a few hours or possibly tomorrow." Zach said.

Everyone sighed in relief.

"Where is Saria?" Master Makarov asked. At the mention of her name, a dark look appeared on Natsu's face.

"She left Magnolia. (Y/N) told her that she was to never return to Magnolia and to never let her or anyone from Fairy Tail see her. I think she took away Saria's guild mark too." Natsu said.

Master Makarov nodded as he headed out of the infirmary, "Good. Now everyone, let them rest."

Everyone nodded and left.

"Come on Zach, let's go home." Natsu said a he grabbed Rini's baby bag. "What about Mom?" Zach asked.

"We'll come back later. You look tired and I do too. Rini is getting fussy too. We'll take a quick nap, eat something, and come back." Natsu said.

Zach sighed and nodded as they left.

(Natsu's PoV)
"Sweet dreams, my little princess." I whispered as I gently placed Rini in her crib and covered her with a blanket.

I left Rini's room and left the door slightly open. I yawned and went into (Y/N)'s and I's room to get some clothes. I then went into the bathroom to take a shower. Zach was already asleep in his room.

"Man, I hope (Y/N) wakes up soon." I mumbled to myself as I undressed and stepped into the running shower.

"I should've looked for her earlier. If I did, (Y/N) would still have all of her magic."

I punched the wall, making a dent in it.

"This is all my fault. I shouldn't have left.. Damn it!" I said loudly, but then covered my mouth, remembering that Zach and Rini were sleeping.

I cursed and quickly took a shower.

"Has she woken up yet?" I asked Gray. He shook his head and he reached for Rini. I gave her to him as Zach and I sighed.

"Relax man. (Y/N)'s going to be fine. Stop worrying so much." Gray said as we sat down at a table. Happy and Rit joined us at the table.

"She's my wife, I'm supposed to worry about her. Especially right now." I said as I crossed my arms.

I saw Zach, Happy, Rit, and Gray glance at each other.

"Um Dad, it's the other way around. Mom is the one who usually worries about you." Zach said with a grin.

I chuckled and ruffled his hair, "Whatever."

I then stood up, "I'm going to check up on her and everyone else. Take care of my kids, Popsicle."

Gray nodded as a slight tick mark appeared on his head when he heard what I called him.

I grinned as I walked towards the infirmary.

I walked into the infirmary and closed the door quietly behind me. I pulled up a chair next to (Y/N)'s and Alice's bed and sat down.

"When are you going to wake up (Y/N)?" I asked as held her hand.

"I'm the one who's usually sleeping." I mumbled.

I squeezed (Y/N)'s hand and grinned.

"I hope I don't wake up late tomorrow to take Zach to school. I'm pretty much useless without you." I said with a sad smile.

"I don't think I'm a good dad to Zach and Rini.. Heck, I'm not even Zach's real dad. I sure wish I was.."

"Am I cut out to be a dad? Am I even cut out to be married to such a beautiful and perfect woman?"

"..You're an idiot Natsu."

I perked up and looked at (Y/N)'s face.

"(Y/N)!" I said with a grin.

(Y/N) smiled sleepily at me and squeezed my hand. I helped her sit up in her bed, making sure not to bother Alice.

"You're an amazing dad and husband, Natsu." (Y/N) said softly.

I looked away from (Y/N) and looked at the bed. "Really?" I asked.

(Y/N) nodded with a smile, "Of course. I can't see anyone else raising Zach and Rini. I can't see myself married to anyone else. Why would you doubt that?"

I shrugged and looked at her, "I feel like I'm doing a sucky job. I couldn't protect Rini and Zach from Saria. I couldn't even protect you from getting your magic taken away.."

"Natsu, that's not true!"
