(Sans POV)

I saw (y/n) walk by the window.

"But where's Papyrus?" I thought. I figured he'd still be back in the back thinking over somethings that they had talked about.

I stepped outside, the light flurry of snow landing on the plush fur of my hood. I walked to the back of the house. Usually when he thinks, he think aloud. I heard nothing as I moved closer and closer to where he should be.

I turned the corner and saw it laying there. His red scarf was lying on the ground, owner no where in sight. Until I realized that the white mound wasn't snow...it was dust. Monster dust. Papyrus's dust. I felt luminescent blue tears starting to fall.

"P-papyrus?" I said.

"No...no! Papyrus!!" I shouted. I ran over to the dust pile, crying. I landed on my knees and sobbed.

"P-paps..." I kept saying his name over and over, hopelessly awaiting the response that would never come. I tried calling Toriel, Asgore, Undyne, Alphys, anyone! But no one answered. I was alone.

Worst. Christmas gift. Ever!

(Y/n) must have done this. Who else could have! She was the one who took him back here! She was the one who left without him. She was the last one I saw with my brother! And I thought I could love her! Well, she has another thing coming. When I find (y/n)...when I find that no good dirty brother killer...I'll show her true hell!

I picked up Papyrus's scarf. I remembered doing this many times in the past. Looking down upon the remains of my brother. His scarf the only thing remaining. I always put it on. It made me feel more confident.

I remember all the good times I had with (y/n). One timeline in particular caught my brain's attention.

"Hey (y/n)?" I asked, sitting next to a waterfall next to Temmie Village. She smiled and walked over.

"Yes, Sans?"

"I want you to be totally honest with me! I'm being really serious!" I said. She laughed.

"Of course Sans," she said. I smiled, a light blue spreading across my cheek bones. She was all I could ever think about!

Great. The first timeline I had ever met her in!

"So, what is it?" She asked.

"Well, knock knock," I said. She laughed.

"Sans, I thought you were being serious!" She said, playfully. I chuckled.

"Cmon, just do it! For me?" I said. She giggled again.

"That laugh is so adorable!" I thought.

"Okay okay, who's there?" She said.

"Mary," I said.

It was not the best plan to dwell on this memory. It's too painful.

"Mary who?" She said. I grinned.

"Marry me?" I asked. She gasped as I pulled the ring out.

"Oh my god...S-Sans! Are you for real right now!?" She asked. I chuckled.

"Well why would I buy this diamond ring just to tell you I was joking?" I asked.

I couldn't take it. I pushed the thought aside. Back to the reset zone it goes. I was only focused on one thing at that moment.

(Y/n) needed to die! She killed my brother, my friends...maybe even her own child!

"I swear to Asgore...I will find you and when I do...you'll have a very bad time!" I said, standing up and going back inside.
