You had finished your breakfast and took the plate to the kitchen. You scraped off what left overs you had into the garbage can and rinsed off the plate in the sink. After that you placed the plate in the dishwasher. Sans, as you would expect, transported his plate to the dishwasher, rinsed and scraped off.

"Welp, ready to go outside?" He asked from the kitchen doorway. You sighed, a small smile forming on your face.

"I still gotta get ready Sans," you say, turning to him.

"Alright, I'll go on and invite Tori and them over," he said, picking up his cell phone.

"Who's 'Tori'?" You asked. You had never heard of her before.

"Oh, I didn't tell you about her? Weird. Well, she's Frisk's mom. Her real name is Toriel, though. Her husband was the king of the Underground. Even now we think of him as the king of monsters. Their son, Asriel, was recently freed from his flower form, so he's out and about too. Though, I haven't seen her since we got out and there's rumors that another human left the Underground with us, though I don't know how that's possible," Sans said. You were somewhat worried by the last statement, but you kept a smile on your face.

"That's nice. I wonder if the rumors are true, about the other human," you say. Sans shook his head.

"I don't. That means...she's free," he said. You wondered who 'she' could be.

"Who? Who's 'she'?" You asked out of curiosity. Sans jumped at your question.

"N-no one! She's no one, ____!" Sans said. He seemed nervous.

"Oh really? Is 'she' an ex of yours? Hm?" You asked.

"No! No no, ____! She's just...you wouldn't understand or believe me if I told you," he said. He turned away from you, ready to walk out.

"You know I'd believe you, Sans. No matter how unbelievable it may seem, I'd believe you," you said. He froze.

"I guess I can't keep anything from you. Heh...funny. I've explained this to you so many times, and not one of those times will you remember it the next one. Oh well...it's all gonna be reset anyways, so I may as well tell you again," he said. You were confused, but something about the way he said this was familiar in a way.

-time skip-

"And that's that. You understand that?" Sans asked you. You nodded.

"Wow. That must be hard to put up with. Having to live through so many time lines. Knowing that it could all reset at any moment, but there is nothing you can do about it. Even seeing Papyrus die a hundred times...I'm sorry, Sans. I'm so so sorry!" You said. Tears streamed down your face as you hugged Sans tightly. He gripped you and cried into your shoulder.

"Sans! ___! Me and Frisk have come to...oh my..." Papyrus said, opening the front door to see you and Sans crying in the kitchen doorway. Frisk signed something to Papyrus.

"Good idea, Frisk. Let's just...go outside," Papyrus said, walking the child outside into the snow to play.
