Chapter 30

It's been almost twelve hours since the phone conversation with Chris. I was forced to sleep, my crying had exhausted myself. I woke up an hour ago, after I was forced into my bed, by Damon. I was alone.

I knew exactly what I was going to do. Little did they know what was going on in my head.

I rubbed my wrist seeing that it was still healing. I broke it when I punched the wall. I went to the bathroom and took a hot shower. When I got out, I grabbed a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I dressed, throwing on my leather jacket.

I could care less about what the boys were planning. This is my problem. It started with me alone and it's going to end with me.

But before I put a finger on Chris....I was going to personally rip Macy head off. With my teeth.

It's not even funny, that bitch had it coming whether she's Ethan's mate or not.

I'm going to have her head mounted on a wall...next to Chris's head.

I threw the gun into the back of the kitchen closet and stormed out of the house. I went to the garage and stared at the covered vehicle. I felt my chest tighten as I whipped the cover off of it. I stared at Zayn's black bike. I sucked in a deep breath before swinging my leg over the bike.

I straddled it, then turned on the engine. The bike felt weird without Zayn. I flew out of the garage, and heard it closing behind me.

I follow the quickest route to the hospital. After parking Zayn's bike, I pocketed the keys, and walked straight through the main office. Ignoring that bitch of receptionist that was still here. I walked over to the elevator, pressing the up button. I walked into the elevator and pressed the sixth floor. I waiting, my patience was wearing thin as the elevator music played. I wanted this nightmare to end.

I wanted to be woken up by three small bodies jumping on my bed. I wanted to hear them arguing over which cartoon was the best.

I just wanted my life back.

The elevator came to a halt as I arrived at my stop. I raked a hand through my hair and let out a shaky breath. I walked down the empty hallway. I walked to the private room I had gotten for him. I opened the door and my body went rigid.

A dark figure was leaning menacingly over the body of my lifeless friend.

"Hello Ryan..."

"Chris...." I said staring at him with narrowed eyes. It was Chris who was leaning over Zayn's motionless body. The room was still. Silent. "What are you doing...."

"Here? Well, I came to finish some unfinished...business," He said with a smirk.

"Get out...." I said in a dominating tone.

"I like it hot," He muttered to himself. His hand ran through his dark hair. My eyes caught the tattoo symbol on the back of his hand.

Holy....shit....

He's a—

"What are you doing here?" He asked cutting my train of thought off. An eerie feeling came over me as he continued staring at me with his suddenly dark eyes.

I stared back at him with narrowed eyes. "Why do you want to know?" I asked suspiciously, my discovery instantly forgotten.

He just continued to smirk at me. A loud sickening beeping pulled my attention away from my thoughts. A felt a sharp pain in my heart as I realized something was wrong. My eyes flicked to Zayn.

I let out a horrified gasp as I raced to his side. He wasn't breathing. I couldn't hear his heart. I placed my hands on his face, he was practically frozen. Chris was no longer in the room. Disappeared into a mingling black cloud of spiraling smoke.

"No no no," I mumbled in hysterics. "God, Zayn! Don't leave, you promised. I lost to much, I can't lose you."

He was a sickening pale. His look unhealthy and too still. "Somebody help!" I yelled, turning to look at the panicked nurse. "Help him! ....please...."

I felt a tear in the pack. In my heart.

A voice chuckled in my ear. "You know what you have to do....one little thing to save his life...."

And I did....it wasn't going to make it easier....

"Give it up...."

My breathing was shaky and my heart pounded in my ears. I would have to give up my wolf.

And I was willing to do that.

I placed my hand on his head and took in another shaky breath. I would keep my title, but lose everything else. I felt him healing underneath my touch. Black veins moving up my arm trailing from his head. A small blue light outlining my hand, astonished me. I felt myself growing weak, tired. The black veins continued to move up his forehead and through my hand.

His eyelids fluttered rapidly and his bright vibrant green eyes sparked with life. His once pale skin was suddenly flushed. "Ryan.?" He hoarse voice said. Before repeating it again in a panicked tone. "Ryan?"

"Hey," I said in a dead whisper. "How you feeling?"

"Ryan, what's wrong?"

My eyes glazed over and black spots dotted my vision, until eventually everything went black.
