Making It Up

(Y/N's POV)

I went upstairs and got myself all pretty. I sprayed a little perfume on me, and left.

Ray already had Amir dressed, and ready to go.

"I'm ready." I said. He grabbed his keys and we headed to the car.

We pulled up to this really nice looking restaurant. As we walked in, you could smell the delicious food being cooked.

"Follow me, and I'll get you guys seated." We followed the waiter to our seats. "I'll be right back to take your orders."

We sat here for about 10 minutes, not speaking to one another. Only one talking was Amir.

"Okay, are we ready to order?" The waiter spoke.

"Yes, can we have the chicken fingers and small apple juice for the baby, and I'll have the lunch special." Ray ordered.

"And what about you ma'am?"

"I don't want anything."

"She'll have what I'm having." Ray interrupted.

"Will that be all?" He asked.

"Yeah." Ray answered.

The waiter walked away.

"I'm not hungry." I told him.

He didn't say anything, he just stared out the window.

"Hellloooo..." His attention was obviously focused on something else.

"Ray!" I almost yelled.

He looked over at me. "What's so important out there?" I asked, with an attitude.

"Nothing... I was just thinking..."

"About what?"

"............."

Amir ate his ice cream, and fell asleep before we even made it home.

I took him up to his room, and put him in his bed. I went in my room, took a quick shower, and laid across the bed.

Ray hadn't came in the room yet. It was really quiet in the house, so quiet you could hear a pen drop. I climbed out of bed to go find Ray.

I found him standing out on the balcony, watching the night sky.

"Hey...." I said, almost at a whisper.

He turned around. I think I surprised him.

"Wassup..."

"You coming to bed?"

"I'll be up there in a minute."

I stood there, not wanting to leave without him.

"Why are you standing out here anyway? It's almost 1:00 in the morning."

"Just thinking..."

I was so tempted to ask what he was thinking about, but I didn't wanna push it. I could tell he was in one of.those 'don't bother me' moods, so I just left.

A few minutes later, Ray came walking in. He took off his shirt, revealing his bare chest, and cuddled up in bed with me.

I layed my head on his chest, and he wrapped his arms around me. We stayed like that until we fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon being cooked. I got up and went into Amir's room, who wasn't there. I went down to the kitchen, and saw Ray standing over the stove cooking scrambled eggs.

"Morning bae."

I greeted him with a kiss.

"Take a seat. I'll fix you a plate." He offered. I did just as he said.

"This is really good." I said, stuffing my face.

"I know."

I gave him a playful mean look.
