Shattered

(Y/N's POV)

I sat in the bed, flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch. 

I heard movements going on downstairs, so I put the TV on mute, and listened.

I could tell it was Ray, by the way things were being touched. Soon, I heard him coming up the stairs. As soon as he opened the door, I hopped up and tried to hide in the bathroom so I wouldn't have to talk to him. 

He quickly grabbed hold of me and blocked the bathroom door. 

"Ray, move. I gotta use the bathroom." I lied. 

"You can't keep running away from this. I'm trying to communicate with you so we can be on the same page, and you don't seem to understand that." He explained.

"I do understand that." I sorta whispered. My head hung a little low.

(Ray's POV)

"Then, Why won't you let me talk to you?"

She shrugged her shoulders.

"Y/N, c'mon. Stop acting like that. Just tell me what's on yo mind..."

She looked me directly in my eyes and said, "I can't trust you."

From that moment on, everything just stopped. I could literally feel my heart shatter into a million tiny little pieces. And it hurt.

Y/N was knocked out, but me on the other hand, I couldn't fall asleep to save my life. All I could think about was what she said. 

I promise you I dropped any hoes I had, might have had, should've had, and could've had, all for this one girl. The last thing I would ever want in this whole entire world, is to lose my family over some bullshit.

When I woke up, Y/N wasn't next to me. I crawled out of bed, and went searching for her. I soon realized her and Amir were gone.

I went to the bathroom to freshen up. When I finished, I slipped on some fresh clothes. I planned on taking Y/N and my son out for a family bonding day. Just us three. 

While I sat in the kitchen scrolling down my instagram newsfeed, I heard Y/N walk though the front door. Amir ran over to me and tugged on my pant leg. I picked him up, and sat him on the edge of the table, in front of me. 

"Wassup lil man," I tickled him. He giggled uncontrollably. 

"Hey." Y/N greeted, as she walked in.

"Wassup."

She sat down at the table. "You look nice." She stated.

"Go get dressed. I wanna take you both out."

She didn't look too excited about the idea, nor unexcited so I didn't really know how she felt at the moment.

"Out where?" She questioned.

"Anywhere you wanna go. Today is all about you and Amir."

"Mm," She got up. "Whateva." She muttered, as she walked past.
