Old Friends

(Y/N's POV)

I put all my stuff away in the house. "Hey, I gotta go pick up my little sister real quick. I'll be right back." Jassy said. "Okay." I said. She left.

I walked around my new house. It still feels so good to be on my own. 

The my phone vibrated. It was a number that wasn't saved, but looked sorta familiar. I answered. "Hello?" I said.

"Wassup?" They said. "Um.. who is this?" 

"Xavier." He said. "Oh." 

"Yeah, I see you deleted my number, huh." He laughed a bit. "I was calling to see if we could meet up somewhere.." He asked.

"Um, sure. But you gotta give me a minute." I said. "I'll call you back when I'm ready." And I hung up.

Was not expecting that.

- 30 Minutes Later -

Jassy walked in with her little sister by her side. "Hi Kendoll :)" I said. She waved to me. I picked her up. "I missed you :* Did you miss me?" I asked her. 

"Yes, I miss you a loooooot!!" She said. I started smiling. "You hungry?" She nodded her head. 

I went in the kitchen and made her a sandwich. I handed her a juicebox and sat her down at the table.

"Jassy!" I yelled to her. "What?" She asked. She was walking into the kitchen. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna go meet Xavier. I think he wanna talk." I said. "Ok. We'll be here." She said. I went and called Xavier.

We agreed to meet at the ice cream parlor at the board walk.

"Hey." I said. "wassup?" He asked. "Just being pregnant. Nothing major." I said.

He laughed. "Who's the baby's daddy?" He asked. "Ray." I said. He didn't say anything back.

"Something wrong?" I asked. "Nah, I'm good."

We sat here in silence for a minute.

"Soooo, what you been up to? You know, since the little dispute we had..." I asked. I ate some of my ice cream. 

"Just chillin............. I missed you tho......." He said. My heart started racing. 

What am I supposed to say back to that? 

"You... did?" I asked. "Yeah.. I thought about you all the time." He said.

"Oh...." I said. I didn't really have much to say. "Well, I guess I'll ge going." I said. I tried to leave, but he pulled took hold of my hand.

"Wait... I got you something." He said. he pulled out a diamond bracelet.

"Oh My Gosh"  was all I could say.

He put it on my wrist. "That's for being a good friend to me.. even when you wasn't speaking to me. Just know, being friends with me, you'll never walk around without a little change in yo pocket or something to flash on yo wrist. Especially for you." He said.

"Thanks." I said, admiring the bracelet.

I gave him a big bear hug. I guess I missed him too, and his over protective ways.
