"This Friday, the tests will start. After recess we will spend two hours doing the test. Some of you will be split up into different classrooms or even rooms. That's why I will announce them on Thursday! Is that understandable?" Mr Smith explained. We all nodded our heads, "Yes Mr Smith".

Mr Smith continued, "The brightest one" everybody stared at Rachel, "Will be given a medal. Now, if you haven't studied yet, I will give you the whole day off, as long as you are in the library. I want whoever hasn't studied yet, stand up immediately and I will write your names. I will hand the list to Mrs Sharp (the librarian) and she will keep an eye on each of you."

Yes! This is my chance, although I've already had a chance to last week, but that stupid Rachel wrecked it! Then suddenly I started sweating, Wait, I thought, If I'm going to stand up everybody's going to look at me and-and they'll realise that I haven't studied yet. And- Rachel and Teddy and Charles glared at me. I stood up and the class gasped.

After leaving the classroom, I headed straight towards the library, meeting a few people. "H-hey B-Buck!" I greeted nervously. He grunted. I looked down.

As recess finally came, I was studying Geography.

Lunch arrived. Art.

Home Time. I just need to finish it off with the answer! I cried in my head. I was doing Mathematics. Finally done. I walked out of the library and went straight home.

Thursday arrived. I was extremely nervous. Having to not study for one week because of a really large test that depends on your future and your dream and what you will become is an absolute nightmare. My cousin, Gregory, says that I'm exaggerating. There was nothing to fear. Studying for one day is just a piece of cake for him. But unlike me, he lacks studying. Lacks. He fails at Mathematics, Science, History,Writing, Journalism-the list goes on let me tell you. But he's really good at Art. Art is his specialty. He tells me that. Once he told me when I was four:

"Once my whole school had a competition for the most creative person ever. Of course I won, but that's just a very big spoiler in this story. You see, I grabbed all the paint, mixed it up together, it made a sort of rainbow-ey colour (I believed that) and splashed it around my canvas. Of course everyone didn't mind all the remaining paint in the whole school to be sploshed together-hehe (I believed that as well) ... But anyway, I totally won that!"

Anyway, later that day, Mr Smith announced that I will be working with Teddy, Charles, Roderick, Rosalina, Rachel and Micah all in the computer area where three other groups from the other classes were working at. Hey, Rosalina is a really nice girl that loves Mathematics and Chemistry. She wears blue glasses and wears a ponytail. She pretty much remembers all of the elements in the periodic table and knows a lot about multiplication, division and others and makes really handy things to do in order for you to solve the problems. I like her, but not the rest.
