I felt a noise repeatedly ringing in my head... Beep... Beep... Beep... I heard a gentle, calm, sweet voice call my name. "James...?" I struggled to open my eyes and found I was in a room full of white paint. It was Rosalina. "Uh... Hi?" She smiled awkwardly. I smiled back. "Where am I?" "Hospital" she said. "Well, more like the higher sickbay. But still, Charles choked you and he's suspended. That's a good thing." She brought a box. "Here" she said, "in case if you're bored you can play with my chemistry set, or play with my crossword book". She handed both things and gave me three sharp pencils. "Rachel and I made a slice of cheesecake at cooking today and decided maybe you would like to have a taste?". Rosalina placed a blueberry in the middle.

I had to admit, I sort-of liked her. Her intelligence, cuteness, kindness, sense of style, personality, her addiction with Nintendo and comic books, as well as advanced subjects, made her perfect for me. Hopefully she felt that way to-with me...

I smiled at her. She was generous as well. How could I say the words? I loved her... But we've only been strangers for two years, not a single word spoken about love to each other. I was beginning to ponder why she was here.
"Oh, the bell's gone. Got to get back to English!" She rushed out of the door.

As I grew older, things became-a little different. Work became harder, teachers were forcing me to have good grades-especially on mathematics, and I became I little more "in love" with Rosalina. We never spoke to each other ever again, well, we only said a few "hellos" and "goodbyes" but that was sort of it. We had to be taught proper manners as well, saying "Thank you sir" or "Good morning miss" instead of the casual way we talk.
Camp came, a few more camps and then everything seemed okay. But then at Year twelve, Mum and Dad kept on pestering me to study really hard because they were saving up money for university. I could go to the highest university, but Mum suggested that if I wanted to be an astronomer, I had to go to a place which did Astronomy. Now, we looked around and searched up some places that could be cool for me to work. We found the one. Macquarie University, University for Astronomy, Astrophysics and Astrophotonics. It seemed to be the one.

When I came to my High School for another day of hard-core studying, I noticed Rachel was talking about: "The Macquarie University". I was shocked. She was going there too!? Ugh-at least it won't be that bad-could it?

A few years later....
I woke up in my brand new apartment-and went straight to have breakfast until my phone started ringing when I was drinking coffee and munching on buttered toast. "Hello?" I asked. "Hi, this uh-Rachel". I hung up. The first thing that I did NOT want to hear was Rachel's voice. She called again, this time I was much nicer. "Hi Rachel-what's up?" "Er... I tried signing up at the observatory but they said I haven't studied hard enough. Can you give me some tips?"
You see, I'm already an astronomer and I would not give her any tips because of what she did.
"Number one, go away" I hung up.
