I remembered, for the last month before we graduate from high school, Rosalina and I became boyfriend and girlfriend. We took each other out on a date and laughed and smiled. She came to a place where there was science, hard-core science. I had her picture, which showed as much love as I could possibly have.
But then a few years came by and Rachel gave me the news that she was working in a supermarket, checking the prices and putting up posters with 50% off on them. I felt sorry for her-but hey, was it my fault? But the month after that-I was given terrible, terrible news that Rosalina died because of an explosion in the labs that have happened recently. Fires happened, her partners died, four people there survived. The labs had to be rebuilt.I called her to check if she was actually still alive, but she actually was dead. I cried. Then the year after that-my parents were running out of money because of paying this guy that they have never told me of. I had to work harder.
And on this particular day, because of the explosions in the science labs, Security was on high alert in each area that includes studying science. Astronomy-as I have explained before-is part of science. And they hired a guy called "Brian Liamson" to be the security of the observatory. I feel a little uncomfortable whenever he glares at me-it distracts me a lot and I'm given less money than the others.
But I gave what I could to mum and dad and saved up some money for myself to pay bills, for food, drink, repairs.
Everything seemed to go so fast. Tragedies keep on happening at around a year-or a month, a week, or... Even a day.And that's when Rachel and I decided to meet up at a cafeteria and talk about our problems and how to solve them. "So-what about yourself?" I asked as I finished my problems. "I just hate working at a supermarket-everything stinks and you have to replace the expired ones and just trash them away. You don't get paid much and all I can afford is fifty ham and cheese sandwiches- and a six bottles of energy drink from there" she showed me her purse. "Perhaps" I began, "we can add up our money together. We can live together and then add up all of our money so we can afford-food, drinks, we can pay bills, repairs and maybe some entertainment! You can sell your house and you can get enough money for us to replace beds and other stuff!" "You are absolutely brilliant!" Rachel cried.
She hugged me so tight-"I love you" she whispered. Wait-what!? I screamed in my head. "Whoa-whoa-whoa... You love me!?" "Yeah!" She smiled and hugged me. "No. No. No. I feel uncomfortable now that you've told me your feelings". "Just-go...Now".
