*Evan POV*
I can still remember clearly what happened, it was a hot summers day and my dad had brought me over to his house to meet Darcy and his wife. I was a little nervous because I didn't know I had a step sister, my dad the lying cheating pig had had an affair with my mum, so I was basically a mistake.
*FLASHBACK*
"Come on son don't be scared she doesn't bite" he whispered to me, I glanced over at Darcy who was staring at me with evil eyes, she wasn't happy to see me.
"Who is this?!" Darcy whined
"This is your step brother Darcy be nice hes name is Evan"
Darcy gave me a fake smile to please our dad.
He took me and her into a playroom and told us both to play. "see you soon guys! Play nice" he said as he bent down and kissed both of our foreheads.
Darcy still hadn't finished glaring a me.
She started play, as did I until she suddenly stopped and said. "I don't like you, I never will, if you take my daddy away from me I will hurt you, now I guess its time to get rid of you." Darcy had held out her hand and begun biting at it. she screamed in pain until she started to bleed.
She had swiped her hand on my mouth, and a trail of blood lead from my mouth leading to her hand, she quickly wiped the blood from her mouth and screamed for her daddy.
"Owwwwwieee daddy he bit me!" she screamed as our dad walked through the door.
his face grew angry and he has grabbed me by my small wrist and chucked me across the living room.
I winced in pain and I screamed as he throe me.
"I can't believe I ever agreed to see you, you're an ungrateful little shit and I should've never have fucked your mum! you're a fucking mistake I hope you know that!" he yelled.
My eyes welled with tears as I stuttered out "I-it wasn't me she did it h-herself"
"Bullshit! You're a liar too! she's 5 years old!"
"She d-did" I mumbled
he came bounded towards me, I tried to hide under the table but he pulled me out and started repeatedly hitting me. For every punch he yelled various cuss words. As he pounded me I saw Darcy in the corner smirking. I screamed out for help but no one came.
After he had finished I struggled to stand up, but despite that I still managed to crawl out of the house and made it back home after various stares. no one seemed to care that I was black and blue and bleeding out, I felt so worthless and unwanted. Maybe my dad was right I was a mistake.
When I got home my mum immediately called the police, but by the time they had got there he had gone. He had left without a trace.
*FLASHBACK ENDED*
Tears roll down my cheeks and I wipe them with the back of my sleeve. It still haunted me.
*Darcy POV*
Luke and I had finished packing my stuff, I said goodbye to my childhood home and left with Luke to live with him. Damn I'm going to miss this house.
I was taking a massive step. I hadn't known Luke for long but I was certain I loved him. I had no one else so I guess he was my only. ( A/N you wait Darcy, you'll see)
I was scared, I missed my shitty mum, I missed my dad. I just wish there was someone else that understood me, but there wasn't.
*Luke POV*
We were in my car, driving to my house. My radio was quietly playing fall out boy, Uma Thurman.
I glanced over at Darcy to see her quietly sobbing.
"hey baby" I whispered "its going to be okay, I promise."
she bit her lip and nodded. I rested my left hand on her thigh and my right hand was steering the car.
After about 10 minutes we pulled up to my house. I bridal carried her up to the front porch, I put her down to grab my keys out my pocket and I opened the door for her. I told her to sit on the sofa while I grabbed her stuff.
My mum and dad came out and greeted me and Darcy. Darcy came close and nuzzled her head into my neck and I kissed her forehead.
"hello Mr and Mrs Hemming's, I want to thank you so much for letting me live here." She said nervously
"please call us Andrew and Liz" Andrew said
"Okay thank you" she mumbled
Then Ben and Jack came out and also said hello to Darcy.
"wow she's hot!" they whispered to me
"hands off" I whispered back.
I whistled and out came molly. "Hello molly" I cooed
Darcy bent down and petted her. "she's cute" Darcy giggled
"aha yeah, want me to show you our room?"
"our?" she asked
"Yeah sorry we have to share"
"Hey I wasn't complaining" she smirked.
*Darcy POV*
After Luke had showed me our room, we went downstairs to join his parents and siblings for dinner.
we was down there for a couple of hours chatting away.
me and Luke then got in our pyjamas and got into bed together.
I nuzzled my face into his neck and we whispered our goodnights.
He interwinded our fingers and told me he loved me.
"I love you Darcy"
"I love you too Luke and Lucifer."
