So this is that last chapter of this book, the next book is called Two Paths.

(Mariah's POV)

It has been almost a few months since I joined the Akatsuki now and I'm almost completely healed. I went to the kitchen and attempt to make breakfast. I couldn't really move my hands so I chose to eat an apple with my semi good hand. I sat down at the table just slowly eating my apple with no distractions since it was about six in the morning. I sighed.

"I miss sleeping," I said out loud.

I then heard footsteps coming into the kitchen. I didn't pay attention to them I just began to think things over.

"How is everyone taking my death? What is Sasuke doing right now? Does he miss me? Did he really mean what he said back then?"

"You know if you think out loud then people might think you're crazy." I heard someone say.

I looked over to where the voice came from and saw Itachi sitting at the end of the table.

"W-was I really talking out loud?"

He nodded.

"Damn, I thought I was thinking."

He didn't say anything; he just went back to eating his breakfast.

"What is up with Uchiha's not talking?" I sighed.

Still no answer; I rolled my eyes.

"Do you ever talk?"

"Yes,"

"No I mean do you ever speak your mind?"

"No,"

"Why?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"Ha, you spoke your mind."

He gave me the famous Uchiha glare but I matched it with my own. Just to make it even more intense I turned on the Sharingan. After ten minutes of our little glaring contest he sighs and leaves the kitchen.

"Hmph serves him right for messing with me." I thought. "Hmmm he should talk more, I wonder if I can."

I walked down the hallway to Pain's office. I approached the door and knocked on it.

"Come in,"

I opened the door and stepped into his dark ominous office. He was sitting behind his desk and I stood before him.

"I'm all healed." I said.

"Good, then you'll train with Deidara first. After you master all that he has to teach you then it will be Sasori, then Hidan, Kazuku, Konan, Kisame, Itachi, and lastly myself."

"When do I start training?"

"Tomorrow,"

"Ok," I said walking out.

I walked down the hallway and saw Deidara coming out of his room.

"We start training tomorrow," I said walking past him.

I didn't even look back and kept walking. I assumed that he just nodded and walked to where he was going to. I was bored so I just walked around the base thinking about stuff. After about ten minutes of walking around I was paying attention and almost ran into someone. Before I could hit them I stopped at the last second.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I said walking away.

"Hn,"

"Do you ever have a conversation?" I asked.
