"Please don't. I know the road your headed down please don't. Shad-dow." A formilure, comforting voice echos in her ears "." she feels eager like she knows this voice. But who could it be? She knows so many people. What felt like an old memory fades away. As an all black back round turns to white.

Hunter slowly awakens, to her favorite smell food, burning blueberries slowly began to fill her nose. She slowly opens her eyes, to see a half white, half chard wall with a window on the right side. The white sheets almost haven't moved from the night be for. Pulling the sheets off she throws her robe and slippers on and walks down the hall, to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror she thinks to herself, 'Wow this means yesterday really happened.' She turns around and closes the door behind her. She had hopped it was all just a bad dream. Weather or not she wanted to admit it she did live with him for almost a year. She had hopped she knew him better than that. 'Guess I was wrong again, no surprise.'

She turns to go back to the bedroom but the sweet smell once again lays it's self at her feet, and pulls her down the stairs. She thinks of how Elijah used to make her breakfast, every morning. How the natural things he did made her day. 'The little things'. Even now knowing that he was with his family. How can I not love that about him?

Derik on the other hand, now done with making pancakes, as he turns to place the pancakes on the table. He looks up to the now creaking stairs, and sees Hunter's hairless golden legs. He can't help but pause and watch, he sees the silk robe, and her long dark hair in the sunlight it's red. "Good morning, how did you sleep?" He asked in a husky morning voice, looking up at her from the table. "Is that food?" She asks wide eyed, she sped toward the table, shoveling food into her mouth "Damn Shadow feel free to leave some for anyone els." he said putting the pots and pans in the sink. "Sorry" she mumbled swolling the the food she just shoveled into her mouth. "No, no it's okay after the night you had..." he stops himself. "Sorry I didn't mean to..." she hates when people apologise, she gives him a look that says, stop well your ahead. "It's fine, none of this is your fault." She spoke beginning to lose her appetite.

Hunter pushes the chair out, stands up and pushes the chair back in. "Did you like them, the pancakes?" Derik asks intently. "Yes there good." she answers muffled mouth full. He laughs as she picked up the plate and went up stairs. With each step stabbing cutting and eating pancakes.
