Hunter puts her head down on his shoulder and close her eyes. With his arms around her, he smiles. Now if only I liked dancing. He watches her listening to music and eat. He can't help but ask if she's okay. "Yes, Mick of course. I'm okay, have you ever known me not to be?" she questions, "Are you... happy?" he asks. Are you joking? You cheated on me!?. Play nice, right. "I'm okay." she looks at him with a fake smile but it doesn't take long for her eyes to find the floor. He can tell it's not real. Hunter can't help but think to herself, I would be happy if looking at you didn't remind me of Hayle. She looks at her phone, "Looking for a massage?" he asks jellouse . "No, sunrise is in less then an hour?" she says bringing her eyes back to his. "Best we should get going." he stands and pulls her chair out just like Elijah would. And as she walks to the door he blows out all the candles and flips the switch back at high speed.
She glances back, he looks the same way he did the night they meet, leaning over the bar. She smiles and he looks up. "Wow, you look so much like you did on the night we meet." He says as she starts to laugh. "What?" he asks cocking his head as he moves putting one hand on her lower back, and the other on the door nob. I was just thinking the same thing. "Nothing."she said as they leave, he drives her home and walks her up the walkway. "Nice ride." He says motioning to the Dodge behind him on the grass" "thanks" was her whispered response. "Good night." she says, and turns to go inside. "Hunter." he said knowing that it would piss her off. Son of a bitch!.. She turns back, and he kisses her, she kissed back.
But only for a moment, before she pulls away, and starting up the stairs "Shadow?" she turns reluctantly, "Yeah?" She asks "Goodnight." He had answered she turns and walks up the stairs and to the front door. She takes off her shoes as she makes it up to her room. Mick doesn't remember getting in the car and going home, all he thinks about is her big gray eyes.
She walks into the bedroom and after closing the door She falls backward onto the bed. She looks out the window at the empty sky fill in with clouds. Mick dissuades to stay up and watch as the sky changes colors.
