Shadow comes walking down a dirt road to an old brunt house. She runs up the stairs and swings the screen door open. "Derik? Derik! Are you here?" A tall, dark, and handsome man comes around the doorway to the right. "What?" she walks in to a huge, he rapes his large arms around her. "What is it? Tell me what happened?" "He was, an-and Hayley was, I saw it, and I should have listened to you." she then goes on to say,"The worst thing is I'm not even sad. I saw it coming." shouldn't this hurt more? Derik turns to the chard couch. "You can't blame yourself." Her gray eyes find his light blue. Then the floor finds her gaze "He's not like you, like us." Derik said, abruptly knowing that he was going to regret what he said.

"Like us? Like us, Derik! First of all, half the time we're... (She didn't like saying it) wolves. What makes him and me so different?" He pulls her closer, in an attempt to comfort her. "Shadow, you don't kill people." Derik held her close, for a moment before she stands. But I have. She thought "You can still stay here, if you want?" She spoke "You would let me stay here, why?" He asked "It's a big house, I don't want to be here, alone." plus it was kinda your house first. She walks back through the crisp burned doubles doors and up the stairs.

She opens the first door on the right, bathroom. Second door empty bedroom, third door empty bedroom. Memory's come fludding back, this was Elijah's room when he lost his memory. When she fell in love with him, all over again. She closes the door, and moves on the last door on the right and walks into her old room. It had always been her room even when it was the Hale house and they where kind enough to take her in. Knowing she knew little to nothing about herself. They still went out of their way to make a place for her here. Who was she to kick out the only person other then herself that belongs in the house. She begins to move down the hall again.

Her thoughts still on times long past.
