"How was the date?" my mother asked as soon as I got home at nine. Her eyes were wide with curiousity and she was so ready to hear what we had done in the afternoon. Or, at least, what were supposed to do.

"Well..." I mumbled avoiding her gaze, my fingers intertwining with each other as I thought of an excuse but nothing really came up to my mind.

"Well?"

"Um," I gave up on thinking and I looked at her before letting out a long sigh, "It wasn't so great, it was horrible actually. I don't want to think about it."

"What happened?" she asked with a gasp as her hands harbor near my body, about to give me a hug like she always does when her hands are this close to me.

"Well he wasn't very polite to me and he was on his phone most of the time plus he made me pay in a very rude way. I mean I could've paid but he really didn't have to add salt to the wound." I complained as I crossed my arms and she gave me a quick hug before pulling away.

"I'm sure he's having a hard time too, he has work too you know?"

"But in the form it says he has one week off to get to know me." I frowned, furrowing my eyebrows as I looked at my mother, "I know he doesn't really like this either but at least greet me or something."

"So, what else did you guys do?"

"Nothing. I walked away and he didn't stop me, he didn't call me, he didn't care." I pursed my lips, feeling a little disappointed. But I never really had that much expectations anyway.

"Well he doesn't have your phone number."

"He does," I said, "You put it in the form for me."

"Oh yeah, forgot." my mom sighed, "Did you eat anything after that?"

I nodded, "I already had dinner, I brought some back for you. Jjajan!"

I pulled out a plastic bag with food in it. Her smile brightened and it makes me so happy to see her in a different light after all these years, "Thank you!"

"It's nothing compared to what you have done for me. There is samgyeopsal, tteokbokki, different types of kimchi and some other stuff."

"Did you get your favorite?"

"Ani," I sighed, "I couldn't get any dalgona, I miss those."

My mother laughed, "You just had them two days ago."

"I know but I still want more." I smiled as I follow her to the couch and then sighed, "I want to watch something too."

"Have you run out of data yet?" my mom asked.

"Almost, Jinhwa hasn't updated it yet." I smiled sadly.

"Oh well." my mom sighed again, "I forgot to tell you we have a meeting on Sunday and you have some other dates this week."

"We? More dates?"

"Yeah, with the Choi family."

"Oh God." I sighed as I stood up from the couch and walk to my room to call Jinhwa while my body flopped onto the bed like a rag doll, "Oppa."

"Yes, babe?"

"Get ready to get me out tomorrow and the day after the day after the day after and on and on and on."

"Alright, just get me the address each time."

"Thanks."
