-Jiyeon-

Waking up to the sound of my phone ringing had surprised me for I thought it was dead the night before, I pick up the call, not knowing who it was.

"Yoboseyo?"

"Jiyeon, can I stop by the hospital today after lunch?" Jinhwa said on the other end, I sighed but gave him my answer anyway, "Sure, if you can't say what you want on the phone. And you can come whenever, who gave a restriction on asking the patient first before coming, what if I was in a coma?" and I hung up and placed my phone aside.

I stood up and opened the door to see Seungcheol opening the door at the same time, I coughed lightly and said as plainly as I could, "Morning."

"Morning." he replied and then we walked passed each other. I lean against the wall for a second, looking around to see if anyone was watching. Recalling what had happened last night made me go mad.

I remembered how he leaned in for a kiss but I didn't know why, maybe he was trying to make me feel better, I don't know how it made me feel better but all the other thoughts stopped coming into my head. Why didn't I stop him? I slapped myself on the cheeks, Ugh time slowed down, I could've stopped him but I didn't.

I shook my head back and forth, trying to forget about it as I walked over to the vending machine area to get some instant noodles. I sat down and ate my instant noodles while texting the people who've called me and I wasn't able to reply, I had eaten two bowls of instant noodles by the time I replied to everyone at a full length.

I sighed as I stood up to go back to my room. At the front of my door was Jinhwa sitting there waiting for me. I quickly walked up to him, "I forgot sorry." 

"It's okay, it's not that big of a deal." He smiled as he stood up from the chair and gave me a little smile, "I came here to apologize."

He bowed 90 degrees before continuing, "I want to go back to how we were before, like friends if that is possible. I want you to know that I'm sincerly sorry."

"What were you doing all that time? Why didn't you visit me?" I asked trying to stay calm. He looks down at his feet, "I had to earn money."

"For what? Don't you earn money everyday?" I asked looking into his eyes, trying to figure out what he was really saying.

"There is also another reason I came here today. My mother has been recently fainting a lot while I wasn't at home and there was no one there for her. I insisted she go to the hospital but when I leave for my trip there will be no one to take care of her. Nothing has been paid yet since I still need to pay our debt, I'm just asking you to help take care of her while I'm not around, I'll earn the money. She will need to have herself treated every week but I need her to stay around you but since your staying in the hospital I don't know where to put her." 

I nodded, "Maybe she can stay at my mothers." He smiled as he leaned in to kiss my forehead, "So we're back to being friends right?"

"Yeah, and don't worry about your mom, I'll pay for everything. I'm rich now!" I joked as he laughed with me, he patted my head and smiled, "Thanks, I'll be back in a few weeks so I hope I won't burden you."

"It's okay, I'll do whatever to help you and your mom, you know I can't stay mad at you forever. Be careful on your trip and you better come back or I'll kill you!" I frowned sternly, giving him a glare. He chuckled lightly and wrapped his arms around me, "I know, I'll make sure to come back so you won't kill me."

For a few seconds, we stood there in that friendly hug until I felt something yank my arm away from the hug. Seungcheol was pulling me away from the hug.

"Yah! What are you doing?!" I turned around and gave a little wave to Jinhwa before he was out of sight. I turned back to look at him, I crossed my arms, "What are you doing?"

"What are you doing?!" he yelled, startled I jumped away, he messed up his hair infustration, "Are you just gonna go back to him? After all he has done?"

"What are you saying? We're going back to being friends, he didn't do anything bad." I frowned, "Why are you so annoying?"

"Annoying? I'm doing this for your sake!"

"Nonsense, you're just a random guy who popped up into my life to annoy me! Do you know how hard this is? I might've been poor before but I was happy! Look at what changes you've made to me! It's your fault!" I yelled. 

He was stunned, for a moment he couldn't say anything, "A random guy? Is that all I am to you?"

"What are you saying? I just said that, why are you questioning it?"

"Was that kiss yesterday nothing?" [play TRACK 6]

"Wh-what are you tr-trying to say?" I stuttered, surprised at the sudden question.

"What I'm trying to say is that I like you. Out of all the girls I could choose in this world I choose you. Yoon Jiyeon."
