Laura : *finishes taking a shower, puts on a short and a neon orange shirt, goes and lays in bed*
Raini : I'm so glad you're okay. The bite isn't visible anymore. Does your leg hurt?
Laura : Not at all... I took a hot shower and the pain went away.
Raini : That's good! At least we didn't have to go to a hospital.
Laura & Raini : *hear a knock on the door*
Laura : Who is it?
Ross : It's me, Ross.
Raini : *looks at Laura and smiles* *whispers* Ahh I smell love in the air.
Laura : *glances* Shut up. He probably just came to insult me or whatever.
Raini : *giggles* Right. *opens the door and smiles* She's feeling better. But a whole lot better since you're here.
Ross: *raises his eyebrow* Okay? Nice to know. Can I come in and see her?
Raini : Dude you're slow! *pauses* Go ahead!
Ross : How am I slow?
Raini : If I were a boy and the girl I like were in there, I wouldn't have asked if I could go in. I would've just went in there and check on her.
Ross : Woah! Hold it! Two things! First of all, I wouldn't go in there without asking because I wasn't sure if she was dressed. What if she wasn't? And second of all, I don't like her.
Raini : Right. *sighs* Anyways, go ahead. She's laying down on her bed.
Ross : Thanks. *goes in*
Raini : *waits for him to go in, gets out the room, and closes the door*
Laura : Hey.
Ross : Hey. How are you feeling?
Laura : Better. My leg doesn't hurt and the bite isn't visible.
Ross : Good. *smiles, sits on the edge of the table* So you're just gonna stay here?
Laura : Maybe. Maybe not. I might go down to the lake. Not where we fell but where the party is going on.
Ross : Ok.
Laura : How about you?
Ross : I'm going down there too. I have to talk to Courntey.
Laura : Oh ok.
Ross : So...
Laura : So???
Ross : Well I'm glad you're okay.. *stands up* I'm gonna be going now.*opens the door*
Laura : Ross!!!
Ross : *turns around* Yeah?
Laura : Thanks for everything.
Ross : No problem. *half smiles*
Laura : *half smiles too*
Ross : *leaves*
Laura : *sighs, gets her brown hoodie, puts it on and walks down to the lake.. sees Raini and Calum talking... sees Ross and Courntey talking... doesn't see Vanessa nor Jonathan*
??? : Laura can I help you with anything?
Laura : *turns around and sees a guy* Oh hey Rafael! No thanks. I was just wondering where my sister and Jonathan were.
Rafael : They went to a lake down at the camping site. Jonathan wanted to go see if the "myths" that were said of that lake are true.
Laura : *laughs* Myths? And what what are those myths?
Rafael : Well that there's an anaconda in that lake...
Laura : *laughs more* like the one in the movie?
Rafael : Yep.
Laura : That's a myth? Is it the only one?
Rafael : Well I don't know if you consider this a myth but they say that when you go down there, there's a certain tree that tells you if you're really in love.
Laura : *confused* What do you mean?
Rafael : Let's say you and I go down there. If we both look at the tree and see our initials, it means we're in love.
Laura : What?! But how would a tree have all those initials?
Rafael : Well that's what I don't know. I don't know if this is all true or just fake.
Laura : Hmm.. What tree is it?
Rafael : They say it's the one that stands out. The tree has something special.
Laura : Woah! now I want to go!
Rafael : If you want, we can go
tomorrow before we go back home. I want to see if the myth of the anaconda is real.
Laura : Shoot! But I'm not in love with anyone so I'm not gonna be able to see the tree.
Rafael : Well at least we can confirm the anaconda thing.
Laura : Ok, well we'll go! I'd love too! But the only problem is that we leave around twelve or one at noon. How are we going to make it in time?
Rafael : Well the other alternative is we could sneek out like around two or three in the morning and head down...
Laura : Is it far away?
Rafael : Walking it's like fifteen to twenty minutes.
Laura : Woah then it is kinda far.
Rafael : But we can make it.
Laura : But my sister will know.
Rafael : Tell Raini to cover for you.
Laura : Oh! I can take some pictures for my project! *thinks* Well I'll figure out a way to sneek out.
Rafael : Awesome! Meet me down by the kitchen at two.
Laura : K!
-----The party goes on until one in the morning-----
--- Everyone gets ready for bed but some still are on the lake and hanging around----
Laura : Ok so if Vanessa comes, just tell her that I went out to take some fresh air. And that I'm with Rafael just chilling by the lake or something.
Raini : Laura don't you think this is all too risky? You don't even know Rafael that well.
Laura : Yeah I do. We used to be best friends before.
Raini : Please take care. Here *gets something from her bag and puts it in Laura's hand* Take it!
Laura : *looks at it, laughs* Pepper spray?
Raini : You may never know!
Laura : Ok, thanks! *Leaves, sneeks down the stairs, sees some people on the living room watching movies, tries to be as quiet as possible* *As she steps the last step, she hears a voice*
Ross : Laura! What are you doing?
Laura : *turns around and looks up* Hey Ross!
Ross : Yeah hey. Where are you going?
Laura : None of your business.
Ross : Well it must be with a guy or somewhere dangerous.
Laura : How do you know?
Ross : *looks at her hand* The pepper spray says it all.
