Andrew : *looks at Laura behind Ross* You and I still have to talk.
Laura : *stares at him as he leaves*
Ross : Are you okay? *turns to Laura* Why is he so mad?
Laura : Let's just leave. He's a dork.
Ross : *opens the door for her*
---They walk to the boardwalk in silence---
Ross : Should we call Calum and Raini? I thought they were here at the boardwalk.
Laura : Text Calum and ask them if they're done... I want to go home...
Ross : *frowns, texts Calum* *receives a text* They said we could go if we want... They're in a contest near the restaurant we went too.
Laura : *walks past him* Are you going home or staying here?
Ross : It's getting dark so I guess I'll go home too. I don't want to ruin Raini and Calum's day.
Laura : Ok. *nods* Should we take the bus or a cab?
Ross : The bus...
Laura : Ok, the bus it is...

Laura : *at her locker, getting some books*
Ross : *leans against the wall*
Laura : *closes her locker, sees Ross leaning against the wall* Hi.
Ross : Hey *half smiles*
Laura : Can I help you?
Ross : Yeah *trails his index finger across his lips* Why are you ignoring me?
Laura : I'm not ignoring you...
Ross : Well it seems like you are...every time I smile at you, you don't smile back, you just walk away.
Laura : Well sorry...I don't mean to ignore you.
Ross : Hmm.. Are you okay? Ever since the discussion you had with Andrew, you've been kind of...dull.
Laura : I'm fine... *turns around*
Ross : Wait! I have something to show you!
Laura : *turns around* What?
Ross : Come! *grabs her hand and takes her outside the school*
Laura : *looks at their hands together, blushes, smiles*
Ross : Ok, so here's my part *opens his notebook and takes out pieces of paper*
Laura : What's this?
Ross : My part of the project *smiles* with the descriptions and all.
Laura : *surprised* You're done with all of them?!
Ross : Yep! We just need yours and we're good!
Laura : I need to do five more! I'm sorry I'm taking so long! I've had a lot on my mind.
Ross : It's cool. I get you. Do you want me to do the other five?
Laura : NO! I would feel so bad and besides, it's my project too!
Ross : Ok what ever you like. Do you want to work on them together or you rather do them alone?
Laura : I rather do them alone...thank you anyways.
Ross : *half smiles* No problem... *looks past her* I'll see you later. I have to deal with something.
Laura : Sure. Go ahead.
