Ross : *goes to Calum's locker* Hey, did you do Ms. Theolo's homework?
Calum : Yep. You?
Ross : Half of it. Can I see the other half please?
Calum : Sure *takes out a piece of paper and gives it to him* Are you okay? You look beat!
Ross : I didn't sleep well last night...
Calum : Why? You okay?
Ross : I wasn't feeling so well last night.
Calum : Then why did you come to school today?
Ross : I have a test next period. I don't want to make it up later *sneezes*
Calum : Poor you *pats his back* I'll see you later. I have to use the bathroom urgently!
Ross : Wait! Have you seen Laura?
Calum : She's with Raini and this period she has in gym...
Ross : Alright. Thanks *goes to the gym and looks for Laura* *sees Raini*
Raini : Oh hey Ross! *smiles* Wow *frowns* Are you alright? You look a little pale.
Ross : Umm yeah, just feeling a little sick. Do you know where Laura is?
Raini : She's over there *points at the bleachers* She's signing up for track.
Ross : Hmm she wasn't kidding...
Raini : Kidding about what?
Ross : Nothing...umm I'm gonna go talk to her. See you later Raini.
Raini : Feel better.
Ross : Thanks *leaves* *walks to Laura who's talking with a guy* Pardon me...
Laura : *turns around* Oh hey Ross*smiles* This is Ryan *looks at the guy she's talking to* And Ryan this is Ross.
Ryan : Hey dude! I've seen you around.
Ross : Yeah, me too.
Laura : *turns to Ross* Are you okay? You look really really pale.
Ross : I'm just feeling a little sick.
Laura : *raises her eyebrows* Why don't you go home?
Ross : I have a test next period.
Ryan : I'll see you later Laura *smiles* I have to go help the coach. It was nice meeting you and welcome to the team.
Laura : Thank you *smiles* *turns to Ross* I'm taking you to the nurse. Come.
Ross : No Laura. It's okay. I just want to get the test over with.
Laura : *touches his forehead* You're burning with fever! *holds his hand* Come, we're going to the nurse whether you want to or not.
Ross : *gives up* Whatever you want.
Laura : *still holding his hand, they go to the nurse*
---Minutes later, Laura is outside the nurse room, waiting for Ross---
Ross : *comes out*
Laura : What did she say?
Ross : I'm going home.
Laura : Good *half smiles* You need to rest. I'll tell your teacher you went home.
Ross : Thank you *half smiles too*
