I waited with my hands together, on top of my crossed legs. He had told me to relax, but I could not relax, knowing that any minute I would die.
“I see you didn't listen to me.” He said with a glass of scotch in his hand.
“How do you expect me to relax?”
“I didn't, that is why I suggested the idea. Now, I know you want to know why you are here, but you will not be filled in on that for a day or two because you will not be ready until then. For now, I have to ask you a few questions.”
“What?”
“You heard me.” He growled an inhuman noise. “You are going to answer a few questions. How many siblings do you have?”
“None.”
“Close relatives that are still alive?”
“My mother and my father.”
“How close are you to them?”
“I am not close to my parents in any way.”
“Friends?”
“None.”
“Lover?”
“Nope.”
“You have no one who cares for you?” He asked skeptically.
“No.”
He shrugged indifferently.
“Blood type?”
“O negative.” For the first time I saw a smile on his lips, and it was frightening. If I were not so terrified, I would have felt attraction towards him, because he was so handsome.
“Have you broken any bones?”
“No.”
“Any large scars?”
“No.”
“Any STD’s?”
I glared at him.
“No.”
He looked me over.
“Have you even had sex?”
“You seem as if you already know the answer, so why do you even ask?” I responded.
He shook his head.
“You, out of all of them, it was you that survived. I don't understand, you were the least attractive, the one with the least potential, I don't even know why I picked you, yet you are the only one still alive.” He seemed very annoyed with me, even though I have not done anything. None of this is my fault.
“I haven't done anything wrong! I did not cause any of this, and if you wanted someone else, then you should have come earlier before Toni died! If you have a problem with me, then just kill me!” I yelled. He stood there, stunned for a moment. Then, I heard the scotch glass hit the ground, and smash before I registered the fact that his hand was wrapped around my neck, squeezing it. He was going to kill me, and I was going to let him, but I was still terrified, my whole body shook.
