Tuesday:
When inside the train, I look around to see where to sit, the only thing is, the train has rooms instead of seats. Jason looked at me, "This part of the trip is going to be pretty long so we have to get the train with rooms instead." I stare at him blankly, then it finally clicks.
Eeehh?! Does this mean we have to share a room?! I barely know him! Oh gosh...this is going to be so weird.
I swallowed hard at the thought and nervously laughed, "Well...this is a bit new for me." Jason placed his hand on my head, "It'll be okay, I've done this many times before. Sometimes it feels better to sleep on a train instead of being at home." I smiled at him questioningly and looked for a vacant room. They all had signs on them to tell which are being used so we wouldn't open the door accidentally on someone. Then the train finally starts to move along the tracks.
Hmm...all these rooms are taken. I wonder how they will look inside, hopefully pretty and spacious.
I finally find a room that is open and carefully push on the door. It slowly creaks and hits the wall, I look at Jason, "This looks terrible. It's super small and the beds are too close..." I walk in a sit on a bed then pout. "...and the beds aren't comfortable." He laughs at me, "You always complain this much?" I frown at him.
I think he was lying to me in order for me to approve of this idea.
Jason places his luggage under his bed and sits down, staring at me, "Well, we better unpack cause we are going to be here for a while." I stare back at him and shrug. After we finished unpacking, I lay down on my bed and sigh.
Man, I'm really hungry. I wonder how we will eat?
I sit up and look as Jason who was on his phone, playing a game. "Hey Jason, is there somewhere or something we can eat? I'm like...starving." He doesn't bother looking at me, "You didn't bring any snacks? After certain hours, we are required to stay in our room...but anyway, yeah there is a little restaurant more towards the front of the train, they should be serving dinner soon." I stand and walk towards the door and notice a menu posted on the wall. I check todays date which reads: "Tuesday; Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables." You also had the choice to drink certain alcohols, soda or juice.
Oh awesome! I'm so hungry, I could eat three plates of a steak dinner!
I open the door and peek outside, then come back in. "Are you going to take me or do I have to go by myself?" He doesn't look at me again, "You're a big girl, I'm sure you can manage." I puff my cheeks out and walk off, looking for clues. I make my way and find the place, I notice there aren't as many people here eating.
Oh thank goodness, I wont be stared at while I eat. It's weird, I thought there would be more people since it's close to dinner time. Eh, oh well, I'm hungry.
I grab a plate and serve myself a good amount of food, then sit down at a table, say a quick prayer and scarf down my food.
Mmmm!! So delicious! I wanna eat more...but I cant, mmm that was seriously good food.
I get up and clean my area, placing my plate where the dirty dishes go, then made my way back to the room where I find Jason still on his phone.
Ugh, what a lazy butt. I wonder what's up with him...
I lay down on my bed and he speaks up, still not looking at me, "You didn't bring me anything?" I must have scoffed loudly because he looked at me shocked, "You should have went with me! You're going by yourself!" Jason just shrugged, "Eh...I'll just stick to my snacks."
