A few more months go by and every so often, my dad would ask me, "Found anything new?" I must admit is scares me a little but after a while, it gets annoying because I feel he really does want me to leave. So there I am, looking for places to possibly move in to, I mean, I have the money and he could even pitch in if necessary.

The next morning:
I'm dreaming, in a field of grass there is a few flowers here and there. I pick them out and make a flower crown and place it on my head. Once I do so, the atmosphere changes and instead of a clear sky, the warm sun hitting my skin and air so clean it almost feels fake. The weather changes to gloomy weather, I'm sitting at a chair looking outside at the storm. The rain hitting the glass, sounding as if tiny pebbles were being tossed onto it. Then suddenly lightning strikes nearby and the thunder booms and the building is on it's side and I land on the glass. Seeing it crack, I become fearsome of the possible outcome of my fate, staring down at the road that feels almost a mile down. Other objects hit the glass, making it crack even more until finally it gives and I drop fast. Watching the earth come closer and closer, then right about to hit the ground, I wake up with a heavy jolt.
GAAAHHH?!! WHAT WAS THAT?!
I collect myself and regain the breath that I had lost, feeling my body for any pains, I had a bruise on my arm. From what? I don't know.
Great. Now my arm is going to hurt...but what was up with that dream? Was it symbolizing my life before and then turned bad once my dad mentioned moving? I have no clue, I'm very confused. I hope this doesn't mean I'm going to die if I leave. I gotta tell him.
I try to get cleaned up and dressed rather quickly but then I check the time, it's barely six in the morning. I hear a tapping on my window so I walk over to move the curtain and to my surprise, it's raining. I look out the window for a brief moment, then witness a lightning strike far away and hear the thunder a minute later. My heart starts to beat a little faster, feeling a certain uneasiness about this, I back away from the window and leave my room.
I step into the kitchen to get a quick snack, I made an appointment to go look at a house that I found interesting. My brother also enters the kitchen, "Hey where you going all dressed up?" I looked at him, thinking of whether or not I should tell him. "Oh you know, just going out." I tried to make it seem casual but Jason wasn't buying it, "Yeah right, who goes out at this time in the morning, wearing formal clothes while it's raining? Something doesn't add up sis." I still find the need to tell him isn't worth it but there might not be an escape for me now, so I take a breath. "Well for your information, I'm going out to look at a house I can possibly buy. Dad told me that it would be a good start and I agreed to it."
Jason sat there, staring in a sense of bewilderment or of jealousy, "Why are you leaving for? You have everything here. A home, food, family. There is no point in leaving." His voice became more dense as if he were trying to convince me, "Well I want to experience my life outside of this house, I don't want my life to be dictated by anyone." Jason then looked down in defeat, "Well, I hope you enjoy yourself and have a good life." He suddenly got up and left back to his room.
That was weird, I never seen him act like that before. I don't think I hurt his feelings, maybe offended him but after all, it was dad's idea for me to go.
So I finished my snack, then left. Off to go explore what it's like to be an adult, on my own. Wondering how it'll go but having enough confidence to know what I am doing.
