Our sedation state doesn't last long when Hunter gets a call. By the expression on his face I can tell he isn't too happy about it either, but as the conversation progresses his face grows serious and...furious.

"I've gotta go," he rushes, moving away from me.

Dazed and a bit upset, I jump down from the table, my legs feeling like jelly.

"What's happened?" I ask, my interest peaking.

"Some business," he looks at me. "I'll see you later."

I'll see you later. What the hell?

My mouth falls agape in shock, Hunter's retreating body is all I stare at as the sense comes to me.

He's just going to leave me here.

Trying to not let his departure furthermore upset me, I straighten out my hair and walk out the door he had just escaped from.

I don't know this house at all. I don't know where anyone is, the only thing I can remotely remember the route to, is my bedroom.

I could use a nap after this long day. Especially after what just happened in the conference room. I really hope Hunter changes his pants before he meets whoever was on the phone.

I follow the track I know, and when I make it to my door, I turn the lock and go to change into a new outfit that'll be more comfortable to sleep in.

I sigh when I finally make it to my soft, plush bed and snuggle into the covers.

I wonder who was on the phone call Hunter had to leave so abruptly for. Was it really business? At first it didn't seem like he could care for whoever was on the other line, but as minutes passed he became furious. I want to know why. Knowing Hunter Delhini, though, he's more closed off than a can of soup. I'll never be able to get anything out of him. Unless...unless I seduce him for the answer.

Nah, I'd probably look like a fool. And I don't think I want to make a fool out of myself in front of him just yet.

So, instead of getting my hopes up about it, I close my eyes and hope for energy at the end of it all.

Something tells me, though, that when I wake up I'll be anything but happy.

I stretch out my muscles that have been still for more than five hours, and sit up.

The sun shines bright through my windows, the summer, Arizona air looking amazing at this point.

I run to my closet and change into a pair of shorts and tank top along with flip flops.

Fresh air seems nice.

I fix my hair a little bit and finally head down to where I remember the front door being.

It's when I'm on the last step to the main floor that I hear voices. One of them being Hunter.

"I told you, I don't want you anymore," he growls.

"Hunter," the high pitched voice speaks. "We've been together for so long, how can you even say that?"

"Because, Tina, you've slept with enough guys to repel me away," he seethes.

What the hell is going on?

"I haven't slept with that many," she scoffs.

"How many people are in the family?" Hunter asks.

"I don't know," she spits.

"Sure you do, you've only slept with all of them," he says, and I finally see them standing by the huge front door. "Now, I'll give you ten seconds to get out of my house before I personally hang you by your pretty little toes."
