Is This Reality?

Chapter 11

After I said yes he gave me a really big smile and I smiled back at him. We talked until it was 9:00 at night then I had to go to bed. I told him that and he left. I entered my room with a big smile on my face. This just made my sick day better. I got into bed and slept the whole night.

The next day I woke up with a wonderful night of sleep. I did my usual morning routine and arrived at school. When I arrived I saw Jacob coming towards me, he gave me a hug, but I looked over his shoulder and saw Lace glaring at me. I broke the hug and asked him What about Lace? What about Lace he asked. Well, does she know that we're dating? Did you even break up with her I asked. Yes, I did break up with her, but right no she just found out that we're dating he said.

I felt a weight being lifted off of my shoulders. I smiled at him and he smiled back. The bell rang signaling the students t go to their first period class. I broke the hug so I could go to class. He began walking beside me and I asked are you walking me to class? He answered with a yes. That's so sweet I replied. We arrived at my class, he gave me a small kiss on my forehead, my cheeks soon turned red, he giggled a little and so did I.

Classes went by really fast as usual. Soon came lunch. I entered the lunch room and I sat down at my usual spot. When my friends entered the lunch room and went into the line to get their lunch. When they sat down next to me they instantly asked if me and Jacob were dating. I asked them how did you know? Its on facebook Addyson said. Really I asked. She replied with a yes. I was so worried that Lace would find out and become really mad.

I ate my lunch and hurried to the quad where everyone was on their phone. I arrived there to late. Everyone was looking at their phones and talking about the news. Suddenly they all looked at me, I saw Lace glaring at me with the most evil look that I have ever seen. Lace and her two friends pinned me up against the fence. They were ready to embarrass me in front of the people in the quad.

Well, aren't you just a pig.

Everyone started laughing at me. Jacob turned around and saw what was going on. He quickly came and got the girls away from me and took me away from the quad. We came to the end of the hallway where no one was at. I soon had tears going down my cheeks and was sobbing. Jacob hugged me until I cooled myself down. Luckily we were next to class that I had after lunch. When the bell rang Jacob hugged me one more time before I went into the class. I was the first one to enter and soon came other students. Once they saw me they started laughing. 

OMG does the whole school know now I thought.

I wanted to hide under my desk and imagine that this was all a dream, but that wasn't possible. I sat in class feeling humiliated. Soon the class was over and I can breath again. Throughout the whole school day I felt humiliated with people looking at me with weird looks.

The school bell rang signaling that the school day came to an end. I quickly got into my dad's truck. When my dad drove out of the parking lot people were still laughing. My dad asked why so I told him the whole story starting with the surprise that Jacob gave me last night and ending with today. I got home and watched a bit of tv. Soon my mind was some where else.

Jacob texted me before I went to bed asking if I was ok. I answered with a yes and went to bed. I did not expect for this day to be really hectic.
