Lia's POV:

The cold Paris air was tickling my cheeks as I walked around. I was aimlessly wondering around and looking at all the cute little shops here.

Eclaire and Aspen didn't know I left but I left them a note on their little post note on the table.

The atmosphere here was just so perfect and comfortable. Except for all the people smoking cigarettes. That was the smell I hated the most, out of all the smells in the world that smell had to be the nastiest.

I went into a small bakery, and looked at all the delicious looking food.

"Parlez-vous anglais?" I ask, in French. (Do you speak English?)

"Oui." The pretty woman says, turning around. "Good morning, miss."

"Good morning, may I have a Napoleon?" I ask.

"Yes, that'll be five dollars." She says.

I hand her a five dollar bill and thank goodness she didn't make me pay tax because the five was all I had. I was grateful that she spoke English as well. I didn't want to have to carry on a French conversation and myself trying to make sure I don't say something wrong.

"Have a good day!" She says.

"Merci!" I say, happily.

I sit down on the far side of the bakery near the window. I opened up my little box and pulled out my pastry. I was so hungry because I haven't eaten in days. I've just been so wrapped up in the madness with Harry and the agency.

I've been in hiding and that's all Harry needs to know for now. I just hope the agency doesn't turn him on me.

I look at my clock a few times because I didn't pay attention to the time the first two times I looked at it. I do that with my phone all the time.

I heard my phone ringing and answered it.
It's Eclaire.

"Lia! Where are you?!" She asks, loudly.

"I'm at a bakery downtown. What's wrong?" I ask.

"You need to come back immediately. There's something you need to hear." She says, nervously.

"Be there in ten." I say.

I couldn't think straight. Something is going on back there, and I need to go back. Something isn't right.

I ran out of the store and hopped onto my motorcycle I left parked behind the bakery. I turned it on, put up the kickstand, and sped down the road.

I had a bad feeling about this.

*

After ten minutes of driving, I finally reached the mansion. I pulled out my gun from behind my pants. I kept it tucked in under my shirt so no one saw it.

I walked around the door to see it halfway open, I looked around and scoped the area for anyone else.

I slowly walked in and Eclaire greeted me with such a tone that I couldn't quite pick up what she was trying to do.

Someone is here.

"Do you know this man, Lia?" She says walking me into the main room. She showed me a man that was tall, long black hair, and blue eyes.

"Robbie?!" I ask, shocked.

"You're gonna wanna sit down for this." Aspen says coming out of the other room with his tea.

Robbie greeted me with a hello and a kind smile and sat me down on the big couch. He sat on the coffee table in front of me and his eyes were trying to tell me something but I don't know what.

"It's about the agency." He sighs.

"What is it?" I ask.

"They're planning on using Harry as a decoy. They know you wouldn't be able to stay away from him if he was in danger. They're using him Ro. They bullshit all of his training and his testing. He's going to get himself killed if he's not careful." He says.

"What? Why would they do this?!" I ask.

"If they use him to get to you, they'll be able to stop you from bringing Chief down. Chief doesn't want anyone knowing his secrets and you're the only one that's about to know them. He thinks you already know them all but from what Eclaire tells me you already know some. Well, I'm going to to tell you the rest." He says.

"I can't believe this. What else is he hiding other than his affair and friendship with our enemies?" I ask.

"He's planning on going after the president. He wants to hold the president hostage and take the nuclear launch codes to bomb all of the enemies the US has made." He says.

"He's crazy! How did you come across this intel?" I ask.

"He told me. I'm going undercover while I'm undercover. He thinks I'm on his side and he thinks I'm going to help him. He's lost sight of what's really important. He lost his mind when he thought you were dead, Lia. When Harry brought your seeming dead body out to him that night, he completely lost it. He thinks that doing this because he knows you're alive, means that you'll come back and that you'll help him. But..." He ends.

"But what?" I ask.

"You're the only person that can stop him." He says, looking into my eyes.

"Why me?" I ask.

"You're the closest thing he has to a daughter. He raised you and you're bound to have many childhood memories with him. I've seen a few pictures here and there that he never stopped talking about. The time you called him dad, was the happiest day of his life. You're the only person on this whole planet that could bring him back to his senses." He says.

"How would I do that?" I ask.

"In about six months time, he will be having a man to man meeting with the president. That's when he is using myself, Harry, a few other agents to take down the White House. You need to come back, pledge your allegiance to him. Then you will do what I'm doing. We will talk to Harry and un brainwash him. It's like Harry thinks this is the right thing to do, yet he's not even American. At the time that comes, we will have all the agents on our side and trick Chief." He says.

"I could go in to wherever he's holding the president, talk him out of it, and hopefully not kill Chief. Save the day and everything is good after that." I say.

"Exactly that. But I know you're meeting with Harry on the top of the Eiffel Tower tonight. Why did you change the time?" He asks.

"I had a feeling that Chief was listening in, or knew the time. I already called Harry." I reply.

"Are you both wearing disguises?" He asks.

"Do you really think I'm that dumb of an agent?" I ask. "Of course we are wearing disguises."

"Good." He says. "Well I will be on my way. I have to find the other two agents. Talk to Harry and try to convince him about this, okay?"

"Okay." I say, walking Robbie to the door.

"Rosalia?" He says, stopping in front of the door.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Stay alive." He says, before walking out.
