Chapter Seven:

Lia's POV:

I can't believe Harry risked everything for me, to find me. I can't believe Chief would put his life in danger because of his selfishness.

I'm not getting into what Chief did right now, because it makes me want to choke myself out right now.

I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that Harry was part of the C.I.A. He was famous and he obviously didn't understand what life threatening situations he would get himself into. I don't think once Chief gets what he wants, he's gonna let Harry out of the agency so easily.

Unless Chief knows that he will have to let Harry go anyway and is letting him slice through things and is planning not to let him know the real secrets. Then that would be a good choice of Chief's...for once.

My mind was flowing with thoughts on top of the memories that came flowing in with the kiss Harry and I shared previously.

My heart shattered thinking of anything bad happening to Harry and I can't help but think Chief knows where I am and he knows that I would feel this way about Harry's enrollment.

I couldn't let anything happen to him because of me. I almost failed that once trying to protect him, and I let him get kidnapped. I never forgave myself for that and I could never let what I've been through, happen to Harry.

I just hope Harry has brushed up on his lying... He never was a good liar.

Harry's POV:

"Did you see her?" Chief says, over the phone.

"No, I actually thought I did because she looked like her." I sigh.

"But it wasn't her?" He asks, sounding like he's picking up on my lies.

"No, the only reason I thought it was her was because of her hair. So I followed her and talked to her, and turns out her name was like Anna or something. I don't remember her name." I say.

"Interesting. Could've been a family friend, or just a regular bystander. Thanks for trying. You'll get on it tomorrow, yes?" He asks.

"Yes. One question, why do we need to find her so bad?" I ask, confused as to why finding her is a big deal.

"She is very special to us all and we'd like to see her home and safe." He replies.

"Oh okay, well I'll try to find her before I have to leave. I promise I'll do my best. If she's not here, she's not here right?" I say chuckling.

"Yeah, I suppose so. Thanks kid." He says, before hanging the phone up on the other end.

I'm so glad my lie worked. I was never good at lying and I'm glad that class I took at the agency worked. I still need to work on my lying skills though.

Now, what should I bring to my meeting with her at the Eiffel Tower? Maybe I should buy a dozen roses? Hmm. What to do, what to do.
