Silver Strider( A Pirates Story)

Chapter: 9

Hey readers. This will be the first pic. Other than silver striders. The only reason for me doing this in the story is if it plays an important role in my story. Kapeesh???

On with the story!!!!

Princesses pov.

There's was loud yelling and thumping from up on deck. The sound of metal clashing together rang through my ears.

"Nano, please tell the captain to keep the chatter down. I'm trying to get my beauty sleep."

There's a sudden thud as two men with blue bandanas rush down from deck into the room, smashing the door along with them." Sorry princess. Not today." They smirk as they grab me by the arms and drag me kicking and screaming on deck. I look around to notice the whole crew ,including my hand maiden Nano, lined up in one long line on the deck of the ship.

And I knew what would happen next. One at a time the Pirates would make us walk the plank off the ship, or kill us where we stood.

Suddenly there's a loud shuffle of feet. I look over to see a girl, holding the captain of my ship by the ear and pulling him in front of us. An evil smirk was placed on her face and she turned her head towards my face.

That's when I got a good look at her.

Her long silver hair was held in a thick silver braid and her eyes where deep blue. I've never seen anything like it. Someone as young as she is with silver hair. Very strange.

" Men! Take what you can find and bring aboard my ship! I don't want a single coin left unturned!" She yells out as the Pirates all "yarg" in unison.

" You'll pay for this! The militia will find you and slaughter you like the dogs you are!" The captain scowls back. Bad move.

The girl pulled him up to where she could stare him in the eye. " Oh, you think so?"

" I know so. You luck is gonna run out." He spit in her face.

Her laughter stopped and turned into and angry glare.

" I don't plan on it. But oh look, seems to me yours has run out a bit sooner." She smirks and I hear a slash. She had taken her sword and slashed his neck open, letting him bleed out on the floor.

The whole crew gasps and she chuckles slightly, wiping the blood off her sword with his jacket.

" Now, where were we?" She smiles.

I glare at her as she takes one of the crew members by the collar. It was Johnathan. His eyes looked as if he was pleading for mercy.

" Usoui! Set out the plank!"

A young boy, around her age ran forward and laid down a long wood plank. He had brown hair and green eyes that glinted as he chuckled.

Taking Jonathan, she pulled him on the plank and pushed him in the freezing dark abyss that was the sea. I watched as he bobbed up and down, reaching his arms to the sky.

He couldn't swim.

I wanted to reach out and pull him out of the water. A tear streamed down my face as water filled his mouth and he sank to the bottom of the ocean.

To be honest though, it was amazing. Someone at her age with so much power and determination.

It would be so much better than having the arranged marriage that I supposedly was on my way to a nearby kingdom to marry a fracking  stuck up prince.(excuse my dainty language)

Wait.....I've got an idea. Maybe I don't have to Marry him. Maybe I don't have to die.( even though dying would be a lot better than marrying that stuck up prince)

Silver's pov.

The faces on the crew members where hilarious. Yeah of course I'm a nice pirate, and I can be a good person, but the number one rule of raising a ship is: show no fear, show no mercy.

" Crow, bring forth the three girls over there." I pointed my partially bloody sword at the three wide eyes girls.

The one in the middle wore a long elegant gold dress. I assumed she was the princess I was told about. The other wore a dark sea blue dress similar to the princess. And the other girl wore a formal crew woman's attire for a royal ship. Her hair was as blue as the sea.

I smirked as Crow pushed them closer to me.

" Let me guess. Your a princess, your her hand maiden, and your the only female crew member on this ship." I lean down taking the blue haired girl by the chin.

" What do you plan to do to us?" The Blue dressed girl asks.

" Before I do anything, I'd like to ask for your names?"

" Why should we tell you anything when we don't even know you?" The blue haired girl argues back.

" Excuse me, where are my manors. I am Silver Strider, current captain of the Golden Beauty" I bow taking off my hat and taking a step forward before placing it back on my head.

" Now that that's handled, why don't you answer my question now. What, may I ask, are your names?"

The girl with the golden dress steps forward bravely." My name is Claire and this here is my hand maiden Nano."

Nano bows her head. Crow rolls her eyes and growls at Claire

The Girl with blue hair steps forward, crossing her arms." And my name is Ayaka."

" Well Princess Claire, Nano, and Ayaka? Was it?" I give a smile." It was a pleasure raiding your ship, but we must be off so...." I whistles over to Tom as he pushes the girls towards the plank. I get ready to turn around when I hear one yell out.

" STOP!!!!! Wait!"

I turn around and notice Claire. She looks over at me.

" What if we made a deal?"

" A deal? What kind of deal?" I fold my arms intrigued.

If you let me live, I vow to serve you on your ships the Golden Beauty." She said almost out of breath.( by the way it looked, it would have seemed she had just run a mile).

" Interesting..... And you'll do... Anything?"

" Yes."

I think for a moment and smile as I nod my head to Tom to let her go.

" Wait. I made a promise to my Mistress that I'd always be by her side. If she goes, so do I."

I was stunned by the action she had taken.( of course it gets better).

Ayaka rushed forward. " Me as well. I always hated working for that dumb bastard anyways."

" What is this? Some free for all?!"

Crow angrily growls back and walks by my side. Usoui doing the same thing.

" Yeah, I already have to deal with two girls. Ain't that enough?!"

" Shut up! Both of you!" I ordered and everything silenced up.

" Alright, I'll let you live. But you must promise to do everything I say, or its death by sword for you. Or plank, which ever you prefer."

The girls faces brightened up and I saw a sigh of relief from Claire.

I flipped around to look at my crew of pirates." Hurry up, back onto the ship! We're done here!"

I say as I swing over to my ship.

" I could tell both Crow and Usoui were very upset with my judgement. But I know they'll get over it.

I watched as the three girls swung over on ropes onto the ship. Claire squirmed in Toms grasp as they swung over. I chuckled at the fact and tiredly left to my Captains quarters for some well deserved rest.
