Josh's P.O.V.
It's our last day at Cape Cod and Collin's and I decided we just want to chill.
"Ha ha, I beat you!" Collins says throwing her controller behind on the bed.
"I let you win" I say with a smile.
"Oh really" she says crawling over and sitting on my lap.
"Yea" I say. And before I know it we're making out. Collins jumps off me and sits up. "God, How could I forget your anniversary present" she says dodging over to her bag.
"Wait, I want to go first" I say as she walks back over to the bed. I put my hand under the bed and grab the small gift box. Collins sits next to me with her legs crossed. Huge smile on her face.
Collins P.O.V.
Josh hands me a light blue, gifted wrapped box with a pink box in the middle. I smile at him and take it. He's grinning from ear to ear as he watches me unwrap it. Inside is a small velvet black box. I look up at Josh, who gestures me to open it. I open the box to see a white gold diamond necklace staring up at me. I eyes light with happiness and shock. I immediately look at Josh.
"Omg! Josh! Is this real? Thank you so much!" I say launching for a hug, which he takes with a grin.
"Happy Anniversary Collins" he says.
"Josh, Omg. This must of cost you a fortunate."
"I got it from Kay Jewelers." he says. "Thank you Collins. For being me happiness each and every day."
"Aww, Josh" I say planting a kiss on his cheek.
"May I?" he says motioning me, to let him put the necklace on.
I smile. "You may" I say turning around.
He takes the necklace from the box and puts it around my necklace. I touch it with my fingers as Josh gives me a light kiss on the neck.
"Thank you" I say, turning back to him. "And now its my turn." I give him my first gift.
He looks up at me with a smile and opens it. He pulls out a pair of boxers that read: Property of Collins. I crack up laughing. Josh smiles at me.
"Thank you so much Collins!" he says in a humorous tone hugging me. By now we are both laughing.
"Your sooooooo welcome Josh" I say punching him the shoulder.
He looks down at the boxers." I should put them on now" he says with a smile.
"So ahead Collins of property" I say. About a minute later he comes out the bathroom wearing nothing but the boxers, strutting to the bed.
"You like these abs, don't you Collins" he says sitting next to me again. I'm crying. This is so funny. He's such a goof.
"Ok. Ok" I say getting myself back together. "Here's the second one"
He takes the box from me and smiles, after opening it. "It's a pocket watch" He says holding the golden watch in his hand.
"Open it" I say. He does.
He reads: Josh, I need you like a heart needs a beat.
He looks up at me. His eyes are kind. He kisses me softly. "Thank you Collins" he says.
"Happy anniversary" I say.
"I got us something else. It's not really a gift. Just a memory" Josh pulls out a black picture frame that reads, Things End But Memories Last Forever. Inside is a picture from a few months ago. Josh and I had went on a walk in the forest. On that tree, we carved J+C Forever I Love You.
Tears filled in my eyes.
"Josh, Thank you so much. I love this gift the most" I say hugging him. He puts me in his lap and whispers in my ear :"My greatest gift is you."
1 Hour Later
"What happened to just chilling" I say as Josh guides me to the pool. He looks at me.
"We're chilling in the pool" he says.
Josh pulls me into the cold water. I shiver.
"It's freezing!" I say jumping out.
"Come on Collins" he says holding his hand out.
"Hell no" I say.
"Please" he says giving me those sad eyes. Damn!
"Fine" I say slowing hopping in.
People are staring at us from there beach chairs. Girl's are tanning and hot guys are strutting around butt naked. God.
Josh and I swim tot he far side of the pool, where there are no people. He holds me in his arms as we kick our legs in the water.
"God. It's so hot" I say.
"You want me to go get you a smoothie or something" he says.
"Yes, Please" I say in a cute voice.
He lets go of me. "Of course" he says swimming over to the bar.
As he leaves a guy approaches me. He's been staring since we got here. He's cute. Chocolate Skin. Muscles. Did I mention he's ripped with abs.
"Hey" he says flashing me with his white teeth.
"Hi" I say putting my hair behind my ear.
He smiles." What kind of girl is sitting in the hot sun without a man?"
"Obviously me" I say giving him a fake smile.
"Shawty you fine." he says. He puts his hand out, THINKING I'm going to accept. "I'm Devon." he says putting his hand away. Swerve!
I roll my eyes."That's nice"
"My dad owns the building" he says trying to impress me. Which is NOT working.
"Of course he does" I say. A moment later Josh arrives with my smoothie. "Thanks, Josh"
"Your welcome" he says looking Devon up and down. "Can I help you?" he says.
"No. But she can" he says looking at me. I frown.
"Excuse me Devon. But I don't got time for you" I say grabbing Josh's hand and moving to the other side of the pool.
"That's alright!" he says. "I'll be in them pants by tonight."
Immediately I feel Josh's hand rip from mine. Quickly, I grab it back and whisper something in his ear to calm him down. He looks at me. I sip on my smoothie as we float in the water.
"All, the guys want my Collins" Josh says with a smile.
"But they not gon get her" I say with a smile.
Josh holds me tight by my waist. "I love you" he whispers in my ear.
"I love you more" I say kissing him on the lips. I look over at Devon, whose standing on the other side of the pool, speechless. I put my attention back on Josh and his abs. :)
He smiles. "Impossible"
