Katie's P.O.V
As soon as Michelle and I finished our cake, we talked for a bit and I decided I should leave. When I opened the door I saw Austin walking up the pathway.
"Katie, what are you doing here?" austin asked nervously.
"I just came to say Happy Birthday to your mom." I say with attitude and walk away.
"Katie!!" I hear Austin yell but I just kept walking.
Why did he lie?
As soon as I enter my house I head up to my room. I hear my phone beep. Which signals a text.
'Katie wanna hang out'
It was Alex.
'Yeah sure I'm on my way'
I get on my skateboard and head to Alex's house.
I walk up to his door to knock but before I can knock. The door pops open and reveals alex.
"Yo!" I say as he leads me inside.
"Hey Katie" says Alex's mom.
"Hello Mrs C" I respond.
We walk walk up to Alex's room and I sit on his bed.
"Katie is something wrong? I noticed your frown when we walked up here."
"Actually no" I say " Austin lied to me today being his moms birthday.. so I went up to say happy birthday to her and Austin wasn't there. Michelle told me it wasn't her birthday and Austin had gone out with a Lexi to the movies."
"I'm sorry Katie" Alex's comforts me with a hug.
As we let go the doorbell rang.
"Mom can you get that please" Alex shouts out.
After his mom answers the door I hear footsteps coming up stairs. The door nob wiggles and in comes in the face that I don't want to see
