Chapter 8

Robert's P.O.V

Her eyes were red and I knew she had cried.

"What's up ,why where you crying" I asked Katie.

"I wasn't crying I'm fine." Katie lied

"Really" I questioned her.

"Never better" Katie smiled at me.

Her lips curled up and they just looked irresistable. I lean in to kiss her with out thinking. I thought she was gonna pull back as soon as my lips touched hers but she didn't she just stood there.

"Uuhhggrrmm" someone cleared their throat. Katie separated from me and we looked up to see Austin standing there with his arms crossed.

"Interrupting something" Austin declared.

"No" Katie began "uhm.. I'm gonna go see if its my turn to bowl" Katie finished nervously as she left.

"What was that!?" Austin asked me in a serious tone.

"A kiss, I guess, I don't know," I responded.

"Robert you just kissed ,Katie" Austin raised his voice at me but quickly lowered it back down.

"Chill man , I mean I guess I have always had a little crush on Katie," I spoke.

"Really Robert ,you're not messing around," Austin spoke.

"Yeah I mean I think I'm gonna ask her on a date tonight," I informed Austin.

"No man you can't," Austin instructed me.

"What!?," I said confused.

"I mean Katie is like a sister to me and I love her and I just don't want to see her get hurt," Austin said

"Ameezy calm down, I won't hurt her I care about her alot I promise," I told Austin.

Katie's P.O.V

I stood there hiding behind the counter as I heard austin say he looked at me no more than a sister.

A sister he looked at me like a sister I guess Austin won't ever have feelings for me. WHAT am I saying I just kissed Robert I can't have feelings for Austin. I need to move on there are plenty of other guys like,Robert he is very sweet and charming any girl would be lucky enough to have him as a boyfriend. Tonight when he asks me out on that date he told Austin about I'm going to say yes maybe me and Robert should give it a try.
