Chapter 19

Katie's P.O.V

As Robert took off the blindfold I saw we were out in the country. There was a trail of rose pedals leading to a place.

"Follow me babe" Robert grabbed my hand and lead the way.

We finished the path and were lead to an old house patio. I saw a table with candles and a few rose pedals. I looked at Robert and he smiled.

Suddenly a tall blond guy in a waiter suit came out.

The boy took us to our table. I sat right across from Robert.

"Hi my name is Ryan" the waiter began. "But you can call me anytime" he winked at me

I was surprised by his action I mean couldn't he see I was on a date with my boyfriend.

"Look man I don't like your tone with my girlfriend I paid so you to do your work not so you could flirt with my girlfriend." Robert's voice raised.

"Uhm" is all that Ryan guy could say.

"Uhm nothing, I'm gonna go have a talk with that boss of yours tomorrow. Common Katie" Robert grabbed my arm harshly and pulled me up to leave.

"You are hurting me." I said

Robert let go and realized what he had done.

"Robert we could have stayed you know we could have just ignored him."

Robert looked at me and spoke

"We should go I should take you home it's getting late."

I didn't say anything at all I just followed him back to the car.

It was silent as we drove. What had gone into Robert everything had been fine and he suddenly just popped and wanted to leave.

We arrived infront of my house and Robert still didn't speak.

I opened the door to get off the car.

"Uhm I'll call you" I stated to Robert.

"Ok, I love you"

"I love you too" I said shutting the door in confusion.

I went side my house and straight to my bedroom.

Tonight had not been like I had expected it be. Robert just got so angry. I glance at my arm and realized it had a big purple bruise on it. I wondered why and then I remembered Robert had pulled me hard today.

I rubbed some cream on it to try and make the bruise go away and went to bed.

I woke up and saw austin staring at me.

"What are you doing here" I asked Austin

"Just came to say good morning, why you sleep so fancy?"

I looked at myself and realized last night I didn't even change into some clothes to sleep in I just slept in my dress.

"Oh I went on a date with rob and I forgot to change when I got back"

"What happened to your arm?" Austin pointed out.

"Oh nothing"

"Common what happen"

"I'm fine"

"Katie I'm your best friend don't you trust me"

"Yes"

"Then tell me"

"Ok but don't over react, well Robert got mad yesterday an.."

Austin cut me off "Robert did this how dare he what it wrong with him he needs to explain this" Austin barged out of my room.

"No Austin wait" I shouted but he was already gone
