Honestly, Jake had no idea what he was going to do. What could he do anyway? He's been turned into something he despised by his ex. That's a pretty shit situation.
"C'moooon Jake stop playing hard to get." Jake heard from behind him. This was another one of Dirk's attempts to get Jake to talk to him. Dirk sighed.
"Look, Jake, I know you're mad at me, but I had to do it. Somethings after you and your family. We had to do this."
That got Jake's attention.
"What on bloody earth would be after my family?! How could it be serious enough to where you had to turn me into a monster?!" Jake shouted so loudly the room shook. It took a while for Dirk to respond.
"You have no idea."
