Chapter Ten
*** Andre ***
"...and then she just threw it at me! She even grinned when it hit me on the head, the evil bitch. I mean, I did shove her in the bath three times, but there was no need for her to go and throw her bloody shoe at me!" Raged my twin, still rubbing his forehead. I rolled my eyes and turned back to face Sky, ready to take the piss out of Joseph with her.
But she'd already left.
"Damn, Joseph. Did you have to walk in right then?" I scowled, kicking at some dirty laundry in annoyance. He looked up at me in curiosity.
"What the hell were you doing that was so important? And who was on the bed with you?" He waited for a reply, but I didn't bother to say anything. I watched as his face changed from mild curiosity to pure mirth. "It was Sky, wasn't it? Bloody hell! But why her? She's hot and all, but she's obsessed with looking out for the little kids and she never comes to any of our parties-"
"That's because you don't invite her, dip shit."
"Oh...yeah. Well, invite her next time then. She's nice to look at if nothing else." He grinned at me and lay back on his bed, pulling a magazine out from underneath his pillow. I sighed and half-heartedly threw a pillow at him.
"If we didn't look almost identical I'd say my real twin was swapped at birth." I said. Joseph nodded, not really listening, and went back to his magazine. It was silent for a few minutes before he spoke up again.
"By the way, you never told me what the hell you were doing in Sky's room all night when she was ill. Not that I need to know details, but be real careful if you're gonna bonk girls like her-" I cut him off, already getting pissed.
"What are you, my mother? I helped her to tidy her room, that's all." I pulled off my soaked t-shirt and shoved it into an overflowing laundry bag in the corner of our room. Of course, I was the only one who used it. Joseph preferred to leave his clothes wherever they landed and be done with it, much to my annoyance. "And what do you mean, 'girls like her'?"
He shrugged and rolled up into a sitting position, shoving his magazine back where he found it. "Sky's hot and she probably knows it. I'm just saying, in my experience girls like her have been around a bit and they may have picked something nasty up. Jeez, do you want to get crabs or something? That's just nasty." He cringed in disgust and went to hog the mirror, busy checking out a spot on his forehead. Anyone would think he had an extra eye growing there or something with the amount of fuss he was making about it.
"You're one to bloody talk! You're getting hot and sweaty with Marlene almost every other night and she's got more chance of having an STD than anyone else I know." I fumed, rifling through my clothes for something dry to wear. Marlene was notorious for sleeping around, and it made me sick to think that my own twin had decided to join her long list of one night stands. I mean, he had a hundred other girls just begging for his attention, and he went and chose the worst of the lot. Good one, Joseph.
"Stop getting all defensive on me, man. I'm only trying to help!" He said. I slammed my draw shut and turned to face him.
"Well, your help is classed as hindering. Just keep your gob shut and don't say stuff like that about Sky. She isn't like that, and if you stepped outside of Planet Joseph for five minutes you'd know that."
