I walk down to the dinning hall, I have my hood up over my head and headphones in. Don't forget my sword on my hip. As I make my way over to the Hades table I feel something hit my back. It sends me flying to the ground.
I stumble up. Jason, Hazel, and Reyna stand up in unison. I look at what made me fall. It was two older boys. One from Ares and one from Nemesis. They laugh. Where's Chiron when you need him, gods?!
"Get up Di Angelo! Let's see what your made of!" One of the kids shout. Bitch I'm 80 something years old! Man, kids now a days! I see the sun it's self glare at the boys. Why does Will look so mad? He looks ready to murder one of them. They pull their swords. I take my jacket off.
"Okay." I say, unfazed. I pull my sword, the Ares kid looks a little nervous. Will immediately stands up. What the hades?
I make the first move. Causing them to stumble outside. Almost every camper follows us out. The nemesis boy slices my arm a little bit. I realize my nose is bleeding from when I fell. I laugh. The ground cracks under their feet. The Ares boy runs away. The other stays. I knock his sword away.
He catches me off guard and hits me in the face. I stumble back. Blood oozes out of my nose and my lip is split.
Oh crap. I make the ground crack around him and he falls down. My head spins. I can't even get lunch without getting into a fight! Gods I'm done with these stupid camps.
I black out.
"Come on Nico. Please. For me. Wake up. I didn't even get to tell you. How much you mean to me. And now, maybe I never will. Nico I fell in love with you and I...I don't want you to go. Not yet. I move my hand toward the voice . I touch his hair, down to his cheek. Down to his arm and down to him hand. I hold his hand. I squeeze and he returns it. I open my eyes. He stares at me. A tear slips down his cheek.
"You are the only thing that I can think about. Sorry that I get in fights all the time." I tell him. He laughs at me.
"I love you too Will, what happened to your face?" I ask noticing the big bruise on his cheek.
"Reyna, actually." He chuckles. "After you blacked out I carried you to your cabin and made sure you were okay. Instead of taking you to the infirmary I cared for you here. After five days of you in a coma she confronted me about how I should have saved you. We got in a verbal fight and then she hit me." He explains to me. I shoot up, Should. Not. Have. Done. That! My back feels like cardboard. So I lie back down.
"Don't be mad at her she was just protecting you. We don't see eye to eye but we'll get over it. I'll go get her, she'll want to see you." He smiles sadly at me and starts to get up. I grab his wrist.
"Stay with me?"
"Of course." He lies down beside me. He wraps his arms around me and we hold each other.
Hhm I could get used to this.
