This is a Skater/Surfer AU
Third Person's P.O.V
Nico walked across the beach. He had just got done at the skate park. Skateboarding with a bunch of kids he knew from school. Not that he really liked them, he just knew them. He always walked on the beach afterward. He watched as Will Solace emerged from the water, he had fallen off his surfboard, Percy, Piper, and Cecil laughing at him. Nico used to have the hugest crush on Percy, seeing as he floated from a Skater kid to a Surfer kid, you never knew which one he was. No one can put a thumb over him. But now, Nico had his eyes on another, as much as he would like to say it's not true.
Will watched Nico, losing interest in his friends. Nico flicked his hand at him, waving. Will started out of the water.
Nico watched the water dripping off of him in the later afternoons golden sun. Will's broad shoulders glistening with water along with his six pack.
He threw his board in Annabeth's direction, not paying attention. Sand flew up and got on her book.
"Watch it Will!!" She yelled but he didn't care. He ran up to Nico with a goofy grin on his face.
"Come to see the view Di Angelo?" Will asked.
"Excuse me?" Nico asked, pulling his skateboard back over his shoulder.
"Never mind, how's it goin?? Get a new boyfriend? Have you had star bucks lately? Have you scraped your knees in the last two weeks?"
"No. No. And it depends... Are you asking if I scraped them from Skateboarding or sucking dick?"
"...both..." Will says.
"Sucking dick obviously." Nico says rolling his eyes.
"It's really pretty out today, wanna take a walk with me?" Will changes the subject.
"Sure." He told him. Nico threw his stuff onto the bench by Annabeth. She gave him a thumbs up and they started to walk.
"I hope your day on the concrete was good." Will told Nico.
"Just like any other day, how was your day on the waves?" Nico asked him.
"Pretty good. You made it a lot better." Will tells him, Nico stops in his tracks.
"Are you flirting with me?" He asks astounded.
"Have been for the past year, thanks for noticing." Will says and looks at Nico.
"Whoa there sunny boy, slow down. Why are you flirting with me?" He asks and starts to walk again.
"Well. I think you're hot. And funny, and I just like how you are okay?" Will says and shrugs, following Nico.
"Well I mean I like you too. You're hot, and you're nice." Nico starts to talk with his hands.
"You're hot, I'm hot, lets get married!" Will says sarcastically.
"But, they hate it when we hang out. We're from two different planets! You're a surfer kid, I'm a skater kid. Reyna... Thalia... Jason... Leo... They hate the surfer kids."
"Jason... Is dating a surfer girl. Percy's both, Thalia's best friend is Annabeth!" Will argues.
"Okay okay. I get it. Am I asking you out or are you asking me out?"
"You're so dense!" Will started to laugh. "Nico Di Angelo, will you do the honor of being my boyfriend and going to star bucks with me tonight??" He tries to turn on his heals but falls in the sand. Collapsing next to Nico.
"Nice one Will." He cracks a smile.
"Thanks!" Will tells him and gets up. "So you want to hit that Starbucks or...." Will starts.
"It's almost nine at night?" Nico raises an eyebrow.
"You only live once babe!" Will says and starts to run up the beach to the strip of Cafés and food joints.
"I am. Not. Your babe." Nico calls after him. After a minute he chases after will. Nico catches up and they walk into the coffee shop.
"Willllllll!!!! No shoes no shirt no service! You should know this by now!!" Rachel Dare tells him.
"Cooommmee on Rach! We've known each other for six years! Cut me and my new boyfriend some slack."
"Calm down will." Nico tells him holding in a laugh.
"What? Would you prefer significant other?" Will asks and leans toward him.
"Significant annoyance in your case!" Nico rolls his eyes and smirks.

"Ooh! Finally!" Rachel says. "I'll let it slide this time!" Rachel disappears to a back room. Knowing they wanted what they usually got.
A couple minutes later she came back with two coffees and a big cookie.
"The cookies on me!!" Rachel says and they pay.
They walk out and back down to the beach. They walk and talk. Until the sun is fully down. And they part their separate ways.
The next day...
"Guys I have something to tell you." Nico says to his friends.
"What is it??" Thalia asks.
"I'm... Im dating Will Solace..." Nico says and fidgets with one of his bracelets.
"Bout time." Leo says and mounts his skateboard. He flies down the slope.

"So... I have an announcement." Will tells Annabeth, Percy, Cecil, Piper, Hazel, and Kayla.
"Shoot!" Hazel says, her eyes shinning as always. She's Nico's half sister, so he hoped she would be okay with it.
"I'm dating Nico... The skater kid..." Will says, looking at each one of them.
"Took ya long enough." Annabeth says, her fierce eyes soften. Everyone just laughs as if they predicted it. Which, deep down Will and Nico knew their friends would have.
I'm such a piece of fucking trash. I'm sorry I haven't updated!!! I love you guys, I'll see you next time!!
