Selena's P.O.V
"It's not going to happen." Lacey tells me.
"And why not?" I ask the Aphrodite girl. I'm pretty new at camp. My name is Selena and I'm a Daughter of Demeter. But most people think I'm from Aphrodite. I guess it's because of how I dress and act? Hhm I don't know, or care! I wish I was a daughter of Aphrodite. But anyway.
"He's not going to go out with you. I'm not telling you why because you should find out for yourself. You're being stupid." Lacy tells me.
"I am not! He's hot, I'm hot. It's a perfect match!" I point a finger at her.
"He's with someone else!" Lacy bubbles out.
"Well! I'll see about that!" I say and stomp off to the infirmary to help the boy we're talking about. Will Solace. Boy was he something to drool over. I tie my midnight black hair in a loose bun. And run into the infirmary.
"Hiya Will!" I say cheerfully at the Healer.
"Oh hi Selena. Ready?" He asks.
"Of course!" My big green eyes look up at him. He's so damn tall. 6'4 I think, Yeah.
We step onto the Porch and start to put different things in mason jars. We make small talk and I flirt.
"So Will, what's your type?" I ask him.
"Oh um..." He blushes.
"Oh come on now."
"Well, dark brown almost black hair... Coffee Brown eyes... Tall and skinny I guess." He shrugs. Is he describing is girlfriend?! Not his girlfriend for long I'll tell you that!
Right as I was going to say something I watched a boy on converse heelys skate past. He was tall, 6'1 maybe, super skinny. He was very gangly and willowy. Shoulder length curly dark dark brown hair. He had sunglasses on and a big bubble of pink bubblegum coming from his lips. He had a McDonald's French fries in his crossed arms. On top of his head was a plastic golden crown. He had a skeleton tank top on, revealing his claw marks of scars on his shoulders, he looked like he gave zero fucks. He probably didn't. People high fived him as he passed. He was going towards the Hades cabin. He spun on his wheels and jumped. He landed on the balls of his feet and walked into the Cabin.
"Who... Was... That?!" I ask Will who had a smirk on his face and a blush.
"Oh, haha, that was Nico Di Angelo. Son of Hades. The second most badass person at Camp Half Blood. Second to Percy Jackson." Will smiles and finishes the last jar.
"How old is he?" Maybe if Will doesn't work out.... No of course he'll work out.
"16 even though he acts like an eleven year old." Will says chucking and hopping onto the railing of the porch.
"Is he a friend of yours?" I ask.
"Yeah... You could say that. Anyway! Thank you so much for helping!" He says.
"No of course Will! What are you doing tomorrow night?" I ask and smile as cutely as I can.
"I have plans but I'm free Friday, why?" Will asks and hops down.
"Well tomorrow and Friday actually, a bunch of people are having a Strawberry picking party sort of thing, and I was wondering if you wanna go with me?" I ask and lean my shoulders forward a bit. He can't say no now!
"Oh I forgot about that! Well you see..." He starts but the dinner horn cuts him off. He smiles and waves goodbye. He walks over to his cabin. I huff and walk to mine.

Everyone is sitting everywhere. So Lacy and I go sit with Will. But I look over and See that Nico kid skate in backwards. He skates over to our table and stops behind Will. This boy and his damn red Heely's. He puts his hands on the sides of Will's face. Will tilts his head back and grins. Nico leans down and Kisses Will's lips! Those are my lips to kiss!
"Get a room!" Jason Grace yells from across the room. They break apart and Nico sits down.
" YOUR GAY??!" I ask him. "And your with him?!" I ask and stick my head out.
"Who's this?" Nico asks.
"The girl that was going to be the one to kiss him! Not you and your stupid Heely's! Agh!" I scream and stand up. Lacy standing with me.
"I tried to tell you." Lacy says.
"Screw you!" I yell at her.
"Don't you like me Will?!" I ask him. Now aware that everyone is staring at me.
"Not like that I don't. Like you said. I'm gay. Super gay." He says.
"Sorry Chick, he likes Dick." Nico giggles as he says it. He puts his hands up and shrugs. Will groans and puts his head In his hands.
"Come on Selena, let's go." Lacy grabs my arm and leads me away. Damn that stupid Hades Kid!
