Nico and Will just started dating.
Will's P.O.V
Nico and I have been dating for a week now and it's going great! I'm kinda surprised that none of the seven have threatened to kill me over Nico. I mean... Reyna is different. She hates my guts. When we first met she shoved me into a wall. I guess if I were in her position I would be the same way so I can't really blame her.
I just finished up my shift in the infirmary and started walking to Nico's cabin. I hear murmurs from inside. I hear one that sounds like Nico... A very scared Nico. What the Hades?!
I don't want to be a clingy boyfriend or anything but........ He sounds scared!
I press my ear to the door.
"I. Will. End. You."
"Yes I will too!"
"Hurt my friend and I'll break all your bones and then put a spell on you to make sure they don't grow back."
"As a Hermes kid I can do some weird damage, trust me there Nico."
Is that... Cecil and Lou Ellen? It is. I'm going to get those two!
"I promise I would never even dream of Hurting Will! He's the best thing that ever happened to me for Hades sake!" Nico says.
"You won't be saying that later!"
"Yeah!"
"Oh my gods! You know what, get out." Nico.
Two steps forward. Thunk!
"Will has people! Remember that!"
"We will find you." Then the door starts to open and I spin away from it. Cecil and Lou Ellen run away. And as soon as they're gone I stumble into the cabin.
Nico's hand is on the bathroom door. He didn't notice me come in side. "Ha! Me hurt Will? It's the other way around." He says very quietly as he walks into the bathroom.
This day....Has been weird! I flop down on the bed. Resting My head against Nico's pillow. Closing my eyes, I wouldn't hurt Nico, never.
A couple minutes later the bathroom door opens. "Hi Will." He smiles at me, a smile that is so rare and beautiful. And most days is reserved for me. We've been friends for a long time and a week ago I mustered up the courage to kiss him.
And thank the gods he kissed back.
I huff at him. He sits down on the bed and kisses my forehead. I grab his waist and haul him into the bed with me.
"So." I start.
"So." He lies his head on my chest.
"I'm not going to hurt you."
"What are you talking about." He sits up and sits crisscross apple sauce.
"And I don't want you to think that I ever will. I know it's only been a week but... I think... That I'm um in love with you." I blush and look away.
"Oh I see, you heard that huh?"
"I'm going to kill those two."
"I won't let you! They're just looking out for you. I know how Reyna treats you. But she's overprotective and isn't very nice about it but, I have no power over her. She does as she pleases and no one says otherwise. Just appreciate that they are willing to do that for you." He plays with a strand of my hair.
"And." He says, running a hand down my chest and then over to my arm.
"I love you too."
"That's good to hear. Nico, did they push you?"
He starts to laugh. "No Will I fell down. Your friends can be pretty intimidating." He laughs again.
"Agh!" I roll over.
"Hey Nico,"
"Hey Will,"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
