Lazy Evening

I let Milo out of my arms and let him scamper around and explore the house. I walked upstairs and sat on my bed. I took off my warm old socks and put on my fluffy warms. "Ah. That's better" I sighed. I opened my bedroom door so Milo could come up if he wanted.

I took out my phone. I had 3 messages.

One was from Tom: "That's great Alex. How about we meet at the mall by the fountain at 2:00?

Another was from Jade: "Ok tell me what happened"

And another was from NIALL!!! I dropped my phone of the shock. I couldn't believe he texted me. I thought he'd just forget about me. I slowly read it: "Hey Mandy, I had a great day. Maybe we should do this again sometime"

I smiled glad he said that. I replied to Tom. "Yeah, I'm free then. See you there."

Then I texted my whole story and what happened to Jade.

And then I texted Niall saying "I'd love to. See you around"

I tried to sound cool and casual and not too hyper. My phone started ringing. I quickly picked it up and put it to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey, it's dad." My dad answered.

"Oh, hi dad" I replied.

"Hi honey, I'm just on my way home from work. Listen will you tell mam that I'll be home soon" He asked.

"Sure, I'll tell her" I smiled.

"Thanks, honey, bye." Said dad.

"Bye" I replied.

He hung up.

I stood up and walked out of the room. I met Milo on the way. "Hey little guy" I cooed rubbing his belly. He looked very frightened but I'm sure he'd get used to it soon.

I walked downstairs and into the sitting room. My mam was sitting on the couch. "Hey, dads gonna be home soon" I said. "Great" she replied. I sat down beside her to see what she was watching on the tv.

The boring news was on. I watched it anyway because I was bored. This lady in a suit was talking: "There seems to be this girl that's been hanging out with One Direction. She hasn't been recognised before but here is a picture that we could get" The news lady said.

I screamed when she showed the picture. It was me! "Oh my god! I'm on tv" I screamed. My mam turned it up. Suddenly my phone rang. My mam screamed. "Shut up mam! It's Niall" I whispered. I answered the call.

"Hey" He said.

"Hey" I replied.

"Em.. Did you see the...." He started.

"Yeah. I saw. We're on the news!" I screamed excitedly.

"Well now people kinda think that we're dating" he chuckled nervously.

"Oh don't worry about it" I smiled.

"Ok bye" he said.

"Bye" I said and hung up.

"Was that Niall?!" My mam screamed.

"Yeah" I said unsurely.

"Tell me all about him!" She squealed.

"I'm gonna go now" I said and walked off.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed some juice. I looked down to see Milo whining at his dish. I opened the cupboard and took out some dog food. Milo started jumping up and down. I poured some into his bowl. He jumped straight at it. I have him some water as well. Well that was his dinner done.

Suddenly the door opened. It was dad. I ran and jumped into his arms. He was nearly knocked back. "Good to see you honey" he smiled. "Thanks" I said and I started to explain my story but he cut me off. Don't worry, your mother explained everything on the phone" he smiled.

He walked into the kitchen, saw Milo and picked him up. "He's such a cute guy" he cooed. "Well you better be getting to bed hon" He said. I looked at the clock. 12:00. I nodded and walked upstairs.

I got into my pyjamas and got into bed. I was so exhausted from today. My eyes got droopy and I fell into a deep sleep.
