Direction Addiction

"OMG! There's them!" Jade pointed up to the stage where the five boys were standing. Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis were all on the stage singing their hearts out.

Jade pointed again. "Look not that way!" She yelled and tilted my head towards the boy band. I slapped her hand lightly out of the way. I didn't want to see One Direction. "I don't like their music in anyway. They don't appreciate being up on that stage. Look at all these fans." I said and pointed to the crowd. "They're completely ignoring them!" I yelled over the music.

"Well you can't get around to everyone! Can you!?" Jade squealed over music.

I shrugged and didn't know what to say. Jade kicked me in the back of the leg and told me to sing along. I poked her angrily.

Harry was singing now. "I know they're good looking and all, but can they really sing!?" I asked her. "Of course they can!" Jade shouted. I felt like I had gone deaf from the music.

I know this was kind of embarrassing but I had never been to a concert before, so being here... I just wasn't used to it. My butt hurt from the chairs, my ears were ringing and I didn't even like this type of music.

But I had to go. Jade already bought the ticket for me. "Mandy!" Jade shouted into my ear. That was when I realised that everyone was clapping their hands. "The concerts over? Wow. That was quick!" I said. "Time flies when you're having fun!" She replied and squeezed my arm.

As I was about to go, Jade yelled "C'mon!" And pulled my arm and me through the crowds. "Wait! Where are we going?!" I asked but she didn't answer. Soon enough we were right against the stage where One Direction stood. We waited there for about 20 minutes until a man in a suit came from backstage and went down the steps to greet us.

He shook Jade and my hand and told us to go on stage. Jade pulled two meet and greet tickets out of her bag. "Surprise!" Jade smiled.

I was speechless. Oh no! I don't even want to meet them! But I couldn't tell Jade that!

"Enjoy your passes ladies" The suit dude whispered and another man lead us backstage.

We passed some corridors until finally we were told to go into a room and wait. The room was white with red leather couches and a soft black carpet. Their was a big glass coffee table with hot chocolate on it.

He told us to wait here and left us alone. Jade jumped on the leather couches and smiled! "The is the life!" She yelled. I was still standing at the door. Jade gestured me to come over. "Thanks" I murmured. "Your welcome!" She squealed kicking her boots off the floor. I sat down on the couch beside her. I had a worried look on my face.

Jade was staring at me. "What's wrong?" She asked as softly as possible. I snapped out of it. "Uh.. Nothing" I mumbled. She put her hand on my shoulder. "Awww... Nervous?" She asked. I nodded slowly.

Jade grabbed the hot chocolate and took a sip. "Mmmmm... Chocolate!" she said. I smiled but deep down I was wrecking this.
