Beep beep! I opened one eye. "Mandy! Get the fuck up for breakfast!" My mam yelled from downstairs. I opened both my eyes and glanced at the clock. It read: 10:23. I groaned. I just lay there for a while waking myself up. I finally sat up and got out of bed.

I pulled up my blinds and stared out my window. It was a beautiful day outside. I smiled at the children playing on the road. I remembered back to when I was that age.

I walked over to my wardrobe. I stuck on a tank top and some trackies. I stuck on my runners as well. Today was a lazy day.

"Mandyyyy!!!!" My mother screamed again. "I'm coming you fat fuck !" I yelled back. I grabbed my jumper and ran downstairs. I was greeted with a face licking from Milo. I stroked him gently. "Who's a good boy? You're a good boy!" I squealed. He shoved his head into my leg wanting more petting.

"Morning ugly fuk" my dad smiled sitting at the table drinking tea and reading the newspaper. "Morning" I said. I walked into the kitchen. My mam was making my favourite. A fry up. "Thanks mam" I said kissing her cheek. "Your welcome" she replied sweetly. I smiled back at her.

She held the pan. Milo was begging for food at her legs. I grabbed some orange juice from the fridge and walked back into the dining room. I sat down at the table with my dad. "So" he said looking away from the paper and at me. "You're hanging out with boys are ya?" He asked seriously. "Daaaad. I'm 17 and they're One Direction! It was just a meet and greet ticket" I replied. "They got you a puppy Mandy!" My dad said negatively shouting. "Well you can't control my life or stop me from seeing them!" I yelled and got up. "Mandy get back here!" My dad yelled. I walked out of the room.

I grabbed my coat and walked outside. I kept walking and walking until I reached the park. I sat on the swings. "I don't care about my dad" I muttered under my breath. Suddenly I saw this other teen in a zipped up hood sit beside me on the other swing. I couldn't see his face.

"Um.. Excuse me? I'm kind of having a moment here..." I started. "Mandy... It's me" he said and pulled down his hood. It was Liam. "Liam! What are you doing here? You might get caught!" I yelled. "I came to see you" he replied. "Why?" I asked. "Um....YOLO?" He replied. I giggled at that.

We hung out at the grass for ages but it only seemed like five minutes. I checked my watch. "Two o'clock! Gotta go!" I yelled. I ran off. I ran quietly inside my house. Milo saw me and started howling. "Shhhh!" I hissed. I grabbed my mothers keys on the hall table and ran outside. I got in her car and drove off.

I kept driving until I hit the mall. I parked and quickly ran inside. It was raining outside. My hair was wet and my clothes were sweaty looked like I still had my pyjamas on. I was searching around the mall until I saw the fountain. I ran up to it and saw Tom.

"Hey" I said. "Hey" he said. "Wanna get some food" I smiled. He nodded and we walked towards Starbucks. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a latte. He ordered some tea. We chose a spot by the window and sat down. I wanted to be all ladylike eating but I was so hungry. I hadn't had breakfast.

I got a call. It was an unknown number. "Sorry. Do you mind if I take this?" I asked. "Go ahead" Tom replied. "Thanks" I smiled. I got up and walked to a corner of the question. I answered.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi, it's Dave, your neighbour." Dave replied.

"Oh hi Dave. What can I do for you?" I asked.

"Well I was just on my balcony and for some reason I smell smoke from your house" he said.

"Oh. My parents are just having a fry. That's all." I answered.

"No. It's like really strong smoke... Like.... Fire smoke." He said seriously.

"I'll....I'll be right there" I replied in a panicking tone and hung up.

I ran over to Tom! "Sorry Tom I have to go!" I yelled and ran off. I could hear his voice calling me but I kept going.

I got back into my car and drove back home. I got out of my car and ran up to my house. I turned the key. I could smell smoke too. I opened the door and all I could see was smoke. It was everywhere. It caught in my lungs and I had asthma. The smoke went into my chest and I started coughing. "Mam!!! Dad!!!" I screamed searching around the house. I couldn't see anything.

Some hands grabbed my shoulders and dragged me out of the house. It was Dave. "There's a fire!" I screamed coughing. I was having an asthma attack and could barely breath. 'I'll call 911" said Dave.
