".....and that's what happened. You're lucky that you didn't go." It was September first and Charlotte was sitting in a compartment on the Hogwarts Express. Harry was sitting beside her, explaining what had happened at the World Cup. She felt terrible, he was never able to do anything normal without something terrible happening. She leaned on to his shoulder and nodded in agreement before she noticed him rub his forehead.

"Harry, have you talked to Sirius about all of this?" She asked, her worry obviously showing when he shook his head.
"Not yet. He has better things to worry about right now." Harry said, mostly to himself. Charlotte stared at him and rolled her eyes when he finally looked at her.
"He's your godfather, he has a right to know." She said to him and he sighed in defeat.
"I'll write to him once we arrive, okay?" He said and a smile spread across his face. His green eyes sparkled with humor as he looked at her. "In the meantime, I really want to do this..." He said before he leaned towards her, his hands cradling her face as her eyes closed. Their lips touched and at that moment, Charlotte got the feeling that something was different about him. She used to get butterflies in her stomach every time he would just touch her, but now she felt nothing. She shrugged the feeling off as someone entered the compartment and cleared their throat. Charlotte and Harry separated and looked at the intruder. Guilt rushed through her as she saw the disgust on his face.
"Harry, Hermione and I need to talk to you back in our compartment." Ron said as he avoided Charlotte's gaze. She shrugged Harry's hands off of her shoulders and pushed him towards the ginger.
"Nice to see you too, Ron." She said, earning a glare in her direction from the brown eyed boy. "Go on, Harry. I'll be fine." She said and he gave her a hug before walking into the hallway. She sat back down and looked out the window, the countryside flying past. She sighed as she pulled out her iPod and inserted her headphones before falling asleep.

She was in a dark room, the illuminated wand in her hand was the only source of light. She started walking around, looking for a way out when she ran into something. She raised her wand and shone the light into the person's face.
" Hello, my daughter." The face said and she let out a scream.

Someone was shaking her. Her eyes flew open and she sat up, taking out her earphones in the process.
"Merlin's sake! You scared me, Char. Are you okay?" A voice asked and she turned to see who was in the compartment with her. Her eyes landed on a brown haired, blue eyed boy about Harry's age. His eyes were full of worry, but once she smiled at him it seemed to disappear.
"Theo! How long was I out?" She asked as she gave her friend a hug. He gave her a tight squeeze and sat down, laughing at her expression.
"Not that long, you were screaming though. Scared the hell out of the entire train. Pansy grabbed me as soon as she realized it was you." He explained and Charlotte winced. Now the whole school knew that she was having nightmares. She looked around and saw that there were a couple more people in her compartment. Her eyes landed on the black haired girl and she smiled at her.
"Thank you, Pansy. For getting Theodore, here." She said and the girl nodded, before she looked at the guy next to her. The one and only Draco Malfoy was looking at Charlotte with what looked like sympathy. It didn't last long as his attention went to Pansy. She would have to talk to him later.
"Are we almost there?" She asked as she noticed that they were all in their Slytherin robes.
"Yeah, almost. Come on, I'll go with you." Pansy said as Charlotte grabbed her robes out of her trunk. She smiled at the kindness the girl was showing her. After saying goodbye to the boys, they made their way to the lavoratory. As soon as they entered the restrooms, the girls that were already inside stopped their conversation and glared at Pansy and Charlotte. They ignored them as they were used to it. Charlotte walked into an empty stall and started to get undressed when she heard what the others were saying.
"She doesn't deserve him. I mean she is a Slytherin after all. They're horrible people." One of the girls whispered to another. A tear slid out of Charlotte's green eye and she blinked it back.
"I would shut up if I were you. You don't even know her, or any of us. I never thought Gryffindors were so mean." Pansy spoke up and there was silence as the girls walked out of the restroom. "It's just us now, Charlotte." She said and Charlotte walked out of the stall, straightening out her silver and green tie.
"Thank you for sticking up for me, Pansy." She said with a smile, she was glad to be coming back. Her house was her family, they all stuck up for her. But it was time that she stuck up for herself.
