Charlotte made her way back to the compartment alone. Pansy went off to find her friends after she yelled at the Gryffindor girls. Charlotte was thankful for the alone time, she had to think some things over. She was still deep in thought about what to do about Harry when she bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry." She said as she tried to move around the man. He wouldn't move, though.

"You're apologizing to me? I ran into you." He said, humor in his voice. Charlotte looked up and realized who she was talking to.

"Oh, Cedric. I'm sorry. You really don't want to be seen with me right now." She explained and he knowingly stepped aside, letting her pass. Once she made her way back inside the compartment, she let out a deep sigh.

"What happened to you?" A voice asked and she jumped, forgetting that people were inside.

"Damn it, Theo!" She exclaimed as she slapped him across the arm. He laughed as she sat down across from him.

"There she is! I was starting to wonder when our princess would show up again." He said jokingly, earning himself a glare from Charlotte.

"Don't call me that." She growled and Theo laughed.

"What's wrong with it? Draco here is our prince, you're our princess." He explained and Charlotte rolled her eyes.

"Draco, do you like having people look up to you? Because I don't." She asked him and his icy blue eyes surveyed her.

"It does get annoying sometimes. I mean, we have our own stuff to worry about without having to deal with other people." He said and it was her turn to survey him. What did he have to possibly worry about? This boy had everything that she didn't have. He had a mother, and more money than she had ever known anyone to possess. But Charlotte couldn't help but feel like that wasn't enough for Draco. The train suddenly stopped and the three of them stood up.

"Let's get this show on the road! You two better be happier this year!" Theo said as they got off of the train. Draco rolled his eyes at his friend. Charlotte just shrugged.

"Are you threatening us, Theodore Nott? Because if you are, you might want to sound more forceful." Charlotte said as she climbed onto one of the carriages, Sapphire's cage in her hand. She sat down and opened the cage door, letting her bird fly across the night sky.

"I'll consider that for next time." He said as he sat down across from her. Draco was still standing by the steps of the carriage, eyeing the strange black winged horses pulling it. Charlotte looked at him and he quickly got onboard, acting as if nothing had happened. She had always seen the Thestrals, as long as she has been at Hogwarts. No one besides Luna knew that though. She added that topic to the list of things she was going to talk to Draco about. As soon as the carriage pulled up to the school, Charlotte jumped down from it and started looking for Harry. The rain was making it difficult to see and Charlotte was about to give up when Draco stopped her.

"Potter's over there with the Weasels and Mudblood. Come on, before you catch a cold." He said as he grabbed her by the arm and put his umbrella over them. He wrapped his arm around her waist to keep her close as they trudged up the hill to where her boyfriend was. As soon as he spotted them, Harry's eyes darkened. Draco rolled his eyes and took his arm off of Charlotte.

"Calm down, Potter. I come in peace, well somewhat." He explained as he motioned to his umbrella and then Charlotte.

"Harry, we need to talk before the feast starts. Please." She said, her eyes pleading with him. He looked at Ron who just shrugged and Hermione who pushed him towards Charlotte.

"Okay, then. I'll see you all inside." He said to Ron and his siblings and they all left. Draco was still standing by her side, umbrella in hand.

"Draco, I'll hold onto the umbrella. Go on inside, I'll bring it in with me." She said as she grabbed the handle, her hand brushed his. She patted his shoulder and he walked inside the entrance hall.

"Protective little snot isn't he?" Harry asked and Charlotte shook her head.

"Not as protective as Ron. He hates my guts and it kills me. Draco doesn't like you, but he's not my best friend. I don't have to worry about him." Charlotte explained and Harry knew she was right.

"I can't do this anymore, Harry. Our houses won't stand for it let alone our friends. This isn't worth risking all of that." She said and she couldn't help shaking. They hadn't been dating long, so why did he look so hurt? She couldn't stand standing there any longer so she walked inside the castle. Leaving Harry standing out in the rain.
