"Let's make a deal." He suggest. I cock my eyebrow in interest, "if the deal means working for you again, then the answer is no Dan." He smirks. "Why not, Mia?" I sighed, obviously trying not to let this guy tick me off.

"Goodbye." I manage to blurt out. "Hey, Maddison, wait!" I turned around, at the sudden surprise of him remembering my name. "What?!" I say loudly, catching a couple of eyes. They resumed they're chatting and I walked closer to Dan.

"It turns out you were our glue. You held our tiny business together. When you left, things changed. We had less clients, and bills are piling up." I shrug my shoulders, "I don't care, what's the deal?" He tucks his hands into his suit pockets, "what if I say you can be a model and a photographer?"

I look at him blankly for a few. "Okay, you have my attention." I whisper. He smiles. "Well playboy has-" I immediately furrowed my eyebrows, and crossed my arms. "Hell no, I'm not about to do naked photos!" He sighs in frustration, combing his hands through his hair.

"Maddison, please, we need you." I shake my head no. "I'm not going to sell my body. I have way to much respect for myself." I walk away without turning back, towards the limo. I didn't want to go back in. Sure, it was filled with celebrities, but really I needed time alone.

I open the limo door, only to be greeted with Jack making out with Barbara. I just stood there, and as soon as Jack saw me, he stopped. "Ah..hey." He smiled, pretending nothing happened. I tucked my hair behind my ears, and got in the limo, while ignoring him.

I should have known. Jack is known for quite the player. I mean, we weren't dating, but that moment we shared, where he almost kissed me, surely meant nothing to him.

Barbara again throws herself at him, and he just lets her, while gazing at me. "Um, Edward, kick it." Jack queued the limo driver to drive me home.

The 4 hour drive, was simply silent, because I felt myself easily drift off to sleep.

I wake up on my comfy bed. I had a slight headache, which was probably from all the noise yesterday. I rub my eyes, and grab my phone that was on the nightstand. All over social media, it talks about Jacks big cheat on me, with Barbara.

We never even went out. I hate all these rumors. I put my phone back on the nightstand and glared at my walls. Out of no where I had an idea. My walls were white, and my entire house was boring. My living room had a huge space, but the only items in there was a couch, and a tv on a stand.

I have a dining room, with no table, because I usually eat in my living room in front of my tv. So today I decided, maybe, I should decorate. I go in my closet, and grab a bunch of my old cameras, debating on which I should use. I also grabbed a box of all my old photos, from when photos were a hobby.

I also grab a ball of yarn that came from my Grandma's house a while ago, and some clothing clips.

Let's do this!

I decided to slide on some sandals. I quickly ran to my bathroom, brushed my teeth. Today, was the day I live. I don't want to be like Grandma Emerald, where as she was living but not really living.

I chose to take my Polaroid camera, and I was gonna go around town taking pictures. I walked out my door with the same dress from last night on, messy hair, sandals, and makeup residue. Did I care? No. I didn't give a damn.

As I walk out my apartment door, I can't help but get inspired by the hallway. The old lights slightly flickered on and off, making it look dim and vintage. Plus, the narrow shape gave off a mysterious look.

Click.

I pull the photo that came from the bottom and smiled. I left the complex, only to be greeted by an ice-cream truck, with little kids surrounding it. I thought it was cute, and it deserved to be remembered.

I looked all around me. This world needs to be remembered. Every second of the day counts. Every second of the day, is another memory. A memory that should be remembered timelessly.

I focus my lends on an alley corner, only to spot that same makeup stylist. The same lady I bumped into, and knew my name. When she saw me, her face lit up as if she wanted to see me the whole time.

She headed towards me. I wanted to leave because she was a creep. But my legs were too stubborn to move. "Maddison!" She shouted from afar. How the hell did she know my name?
