Everyone stared at me, processing what had just came out of my mouth.

An awkward silence crept over the room. Finally Jasmine spoke up.

"Why would you need us?"

I laughed. "Did you seriously just ask that?! You guys are some of the most creative people I know! And you're some of the remaining few people in this world that still have imagination."

I nuzzled Echo's head. She elbowed me in the ribs.

"So you really need our help?", Hailey asked.

I rubbed my side. "Yes. It's the only way I'll ever finish this song for Adam."

Camille stepped forward. "Of course we'll help! That's what family's for, right?!"

Relief swept over me. "You don't know how much that means to me!" I ran over and gave everyone hug, whether they wanted it or not. When I was finished, I got back down to business.

"Ok. We have one week to finish this song, or I'll let Adam down. Any questions?", I asked.

Echo raised her hand. "Um, why can't Adam write the song?"

"He sent me a message a week ago saying that he couldn't write the song so he needed me to do it. Something about being kidnapped or something, I don't know. ANYWAYS, any other questions?"

Jet stepped forward. "What kind of song does he want it to be? You know, pop, electric, etc...."

"He said he wanted it to be new, something he'd never done before. So I instantly thought lyrical or acoustic. Justin Robinett and Michael Henry, John Mayor, Adele, Jason Mraz, something along those lines.", I replied.

"And we only have one week to finish it?", Brenne asked.

"Yup", I replied.

Everyone went silent. Then Jasmine spoke up.

"Then what are we waiting for? Lets get to work!"
