"AHHHHH! This is impossible!" I stood up the piano bench, frustration clear in my eyes. We had all been working on the song for three hours, and we still hadn't gotten anything. I started to pace back and forth.
Echo grabbed my arm. "Bro,you need to calm down."
I continued to pace, but I soon stopped and walked over to the couch. "I know, I know". I plopped down on the couch and covered my face with my hands. I low moan erupted from mouth.
Everyone stared at me, unsure what to do. I stopped moaning and looked back at them.
"I'm sorry guys", I started. "I'm just really frustrated."
Jet say down on the couch next to me and patted my shoulder. "It's ok", she said. "We all are. We just need to stay calm."
I stood up. "You're right", I said. "I need to keep my cool." I walked into the kitchen and splashed my face with cold water. I walked back in to the living room, cold water dripping down my face and shirt.
"So, we're still at stage one", I start. "Somehow we need to get to stage two. Any suggestions?"
I looked pleadingly at everyone, hoping someone would have an idea. When no one spoke up, my heart started to plummet.
"It's ok guys", I said. "We still have a week to finish, but at this rate we won't get anywhere. We just need some... Inspiration!"
Hailey suddenly jumped up. "I have an idea!", she says excitedly.
"What is it?", we all say together.
Hailey looked at us. "All of Adams songs have been recorded in his hometown Owatonna, right?"
We all nodded our heads.
"Well", she continued, "What if we START writing the song in Owatonna!"
I jumped up. "YES! THAT'S A BRILLIANT IDEA!!!!"
Brenne spoke up. "Ya, but how do we get there?"
My heart sunk again. How do we get there? Then I remembered. "I have a key to Adams house! He gave it to me last year when I watered his plants when he was on tour!"
Brenne spoke up again. "Ya, but how does that get us in Owatonna?"
"Don't worry", I say. "I have a plan".
