PEYTON'S POV

"Ok, you guys know the plan, right?"

Everyone nodded.

We were sitting in a bush in front of Uncle Ricky's house.

"Great. Time to get in position", I said. "Soldiers, move out!"

Everyone looked at me.

"Oh just go", I said.

Everyone ran to their positions. Hailey was at the front door with a huge bucket of ketchup. I was next to the air conditioner with the packet Jet had givin me. Jasmine was beside the kitchen window with a jar of jalapeños. Echo was still in the bush, waiting for her cue. And Jet, Brenne, and Camille, whether they liked it or not, were at the back door with the dog carrier. Everyone was in position.

I gave Jasmine her cue.

JASMINE'S POV

Peyton gave me my cue. I opened the window and the jar of jalapeños. Uncle Ricky was sitting at the kitchen table reading the newspaper, singing today's headlines. I pulled a jalapeño out of the jar and cocked my arm back, ready to throw. The jalapeño released from my grasp. A perfect shot. The jalapeño hit Uncle Ricky directly in the eye. He cried out in pain. I continued to throw the jalapeños at him until the jar was empty. I then closed the window, smiling at my precision aim.

PEYTON'S POV

I was up. I carefully opened the air conditioner vent and dropped the packet Jet had given me inside. I closed the vent and waited for the pop. Five seconds later, a small explosion of gas erupted from inside the air conditioner and made its way into the house. A stink bomb. A few moments later, I heard Uncle Ricky gag.

"Good choice, Jet", I whispered to myself.

CAMILLE'S POV.

Me, Brenne, and Jet carefully positioned the dog carrier in front of the doggie door. I then cautiously opened the cage. Something scurried out and made its way into the house. A few moments later a scream erupted from the house.

HAILEY'S POV

The scream was my cue. I rang the doorbell to the front door and waited for someone to answer. After a moment the door opened to reveal Uncle Ricky, his eyes swollen and his face covered with scratches. I threw the bucket of ketchup at his front, covering him from head to toe.

ECHO'S POV

My turn. I jumped out of the bush and ran up the steps to the front porch. I then got down on one knee and held out the ring. "Will you marry me?", I asked Uncle Ricky. My voice cracked, which was unusual.

Uncle Ricky had a confused look on his face.

At that moment, everyone ran onto the front porch and soaked him with our water guns. When he saw us, the confusion wiped clean off his face. It was replaced with humor.

Uncle Ricky started to laugh, and we all joined in, letting out what we had been holding in for the last couple of minutes. Uncle Ricky had tears running down his face, whether from laughter or the jalapeños, no one knows. We let out couple more chuckles, then stopped laughing.

"What are you kids doing here?", Uncle Ricky asked.

Peyton stepped forward, suddenly all business. "We need to ask you something".
