I Don't Have A Hero. I'm Your Hero (X-Ray and Vav FF)

Chapter 4

"Security is now offline." Vav said confidently over the com link. "We ninja'd the shit out of it." X-Ray said after.

"Aw ye!" Vav responded and I heard contact, which means they probably fist bumped making me roll my eyes. "Yeah, real stealthy. Now get to the lab." Rusty told them while rolling his eyes.

"Look it's Orf!" Vav said after a couple of minutes of the two arguing about directions.

"Hey Mavis." Rusty said. I looked back at him, "Yes Rusty?" I asked. "I think you should start heading in, something very bad is about to happen." He told me while looking at his computer screens. I sighed getting ready to get out, when Rusty's hand was in my face. I looked confused but opened my hand under his, he dropped an ear piece. "Just in case." He told me, I nodded and got out. I looked both ways before running across the street. I put the ear piece in as I went into the alleyway, since all the doors are unlocked now I can just use the back door.

"Mavis! Help!" X-Ray yelled into the ear piece.

My eyes narrowed and I quickly went inside. "Rusty give me the directions to the lab, now." I said running through the hallways. "Take a left at the next turn, then a right, then straight. You should find the door on your left side after walking thirty feet." Rusty told me. I ran faster taking the turns he told me to take.

"It's too late to stop us now! All will kneel before the Mad King, muahahaha-"

I ran in quickly and punched him in the face making him let Hilda go, "Thanks Mavis." She said quickly before jumping on Orf. Which in turn made Orf let X-Ray go. "Who are you?" He asked rubbing his cheek. "I'm X-Ray and Vav's personal superhero, bitch." I growled.They ran over to stand next to me as the three of us made different stances.

"If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get." Vav said clenching his raised fist.

The Mad King started to laugh. "You two poppers are no match for my cunning genius! But she might actually have a chance against me." He said cockily with a crazed grin. "Gross. Your going to do what to us?" X-Ray asked looking freaked out. "He said cunning genius, you mong." I whispered to X-Ray.

"Oh, still gross." He said making me sigh and shake my head.

"Guys! Ugh, stall him while I help Orf!" Hilda said as she struggled to keep the robots arms away from her. "Not so fast!" The Mad King said throwing his cracked crown to Hilda. I nodded to X-Ray and he smirked putting a hand to his glasses as he fired a beam, hitting the crown making it go back to the Mad King. He scowled catching it.

"Dude I did something, yeah! Thanks for the timing Mave." X-Ray said feeling excited.

"I'm going to tear off your arms and use them to applaud your demise." The Mad King said while glaring and threw his crown towards X-Ray. "I'll stop it. Slow mo hands activate!" Vav said as he held his hands out in front of him, I didn't see it working so I caught the crown right before it hit X-Ray's face. "Over my dead body, Mad King." I growled throwing the crown at the wall, lodging it. "Oh thank Christ." X-Ray muttered. "What?! No one is able to catch my crown but myself!" The Mad King exclaimed in disbelief.

"Bollox! Why aren't these working." Vav said just as he slow mo'd himself in the face.

I sighed just as Hilda was knocked off of Orf distracting the Mad King's attention from me. I made a hand motion to X-Ray to go help Vav while I go for the Mad King, he nodded with a grin. "Ugh! Damn you Mad King, you really are a maniac." Hilda said while trying to get up, a hand on her stomach where Orf hit her. "Hahaha, yes. And now you will be turned into a meaked puddle. Orf kill her and whisper my name as you do it." The Mad King said evilly.

As Orf picked Hilda up and she tried to break her out of the new coding that the Mad King did. I lightly stepped to the Mad King until I was at a good enough running distance. He watched them with a smirk. I cracked my neck before I started running and kicked him in the back making the Mad King hit the wall. I landed back on my feet with a grin on my face. He was slightly dazed by my kick and he also kind of hit his head a little hard.

"-I'm your friend." Hilda strained to get out while Orf squished her.

"Friend. Hilda. Friend." Orf said as she transformed back to her original personality. Hilda smiled and booped Orf where her nose would be. Orf smiled and set Hilda back on the ground just as the Mad King snapped out of his daze in time to see it happen, he stood up glaring at them while using the wall for a little bit of help.

"What happened and what is this Disney bullshit? Orf! Gooifi her, I am your master!" He said pointing at her.

Hilda and I glanced at each other, "Would you like the honors?" Hilda asked me. I smirked. "Nah, I think I'll let Orf take this." I said. We both crossed our arms over our chests as Orf took control of the situation. "CEO of Monarch Labs, enemy." Orf said as her face screen started to glow an orange color.

"Oh, poopy." He said knowing he couldn't get away from the blast.

"That's friendship bitch." Hilda said as Orf blasted him with her laser, blasting him through the wall and outside. "Ooh, I like that move." I told them with a nod, they both smiled at me.

"Climb on." Hilda said to me as she got on top of Orf.

I grinned and climbed up Orf to sit next to Hilda. "Let's go get the two idiots." Hilda told Orf. Orf walked over to the still slow mo Vav and X-Ray who somehow ended up knocked out. I shook my head with a small smile as Orf picked them up in her arms, she went to the window and jumped out. Landing perfectly next to Rusty's van. Hilda and I jumped off of Orf.

"So uh did we fight the power?" Rusty asked the two of us.

"Yep." I said. "His highness won't be ruling anything, anytime soon." Hilda said after with a smile. I grinned. "He deserved to suffer." Orf said with a smile as she floated over Hilda's shoulder to Rusty. "Aww that's adorable." Rusty said rubbing Orf's head.

"Working! What the toss just happened?" Vav asked as the slow mo ran out.

"Are we dead?" X-Ray asked blankly as he got up, rubbing his head. "Don't worry the Mad King has been dethroned." Hilda said crossing her arms over her chest with a smile. I nodded. "Alright we saved the day-" Vav said.

"Again!" X-Ray said finishing his sentence.

"Day savers." Vav said after as they started to dance ridiculously making me roll my eyes and shake my head. "Uh, okay. Ignoring the fact that you didn't do anything, this isn't over yet." Hilda said feeling annoyed at the two idiots. "The Mad King was planning something and we need to find out what." I said after with seriousness. X-Ray, Vav and Rusty glanced at each other.
