I Don't Have A Hero. I'm Your Hero (X-Ray and Vav FF)

Chapter 9

X-Ray and Vav stood tied on a literal plank over the edge of the tower, I stared at them with desperation. I sat tied up with duct tape on my mouth next to Hilda with Rusty next to her in the same situation. Rusty started to struggle making us look at him. The henchmen hit Rusty in the head with his gun, knocking Rusty out making him slump against Hilda. "Mmf!" I incoherently said Rusty names.

"You two have given me nothin but ruff waters, it finally be time for some smooth sailing." The Corpirate said after messing with the tip of his sword before posting it at X-Ray and Vav.

"Well Vav it's been a good run buddy." X-Ray said as they both looked at each other with sad expressions before looking down at the stormy clouds below. I let a huff throw my nose and slid my hand into my back pocket grabbing my switchblade. "If you have any left over plans, now would be a good time to use them." I heard X-Ray say to Vav as I started to cut my rope quickly and quietly while trying not to get noticed.

"To hell with plans. Let's do something stupid." Vav said back confidently making me stop and look up slightly surprised at them.

I shook my head and went back to cutting. "Any last words before you plunder into the abyss?" The Corpirate asked. "Just three." Vav said as I looked up in time to see them start crouching making the plank lower. "X-Raaay and Vaaav!" They both yelled as they hopped up spinning around getting the rope off of them before landing on either side of the Corpirate, jumping forward as their knobs squish his face making him let go of his sword and it fall off the tower.

I made a chocking noise at their stupidity while Hilda made a noise in I have no idea of what emotion. They jumped back away from the Corpirate who was crouched holding his face. "Yarg, that be it." He said as he brought his hand down showing some damage that the two idiots did. "You be leaving me no other recourse." The Corpirate said as he looked towards the key. I felt my breath stop when I realized what he's going to do, I'm almost done cutting...

I wasn't able to hear what the Corpirate said as he grabbed the key taking it out of the amplifier, it started spark and the green gem started to glow as he held it up. He laughed evilly as the energy wrapped around him making his laugh deeper and the sky turned darker. He started to get very big like Bane from batman, the Tim Burton one, making his shirt rip off of him. Thankfully his pants stayed on.

"Bollox! He's gone all beefy!" Vav exclaimed with wide scared eyes.

X-Ray started firing his x-ray lasers but they only bounced off of the Corpirate' as he walked towards them. My eyes widened seeing how strong he had gotten and I started to panic slightly as he brought the key up and fired his own laser between X-Ray and Vav making them fly away from each other.

The Corpirate walked to X-Ray and grabbed him by his hair pulling him up while smirking down at X-Ray, who held the Corpirate's arm to keep himself up. "Great now I'm gonna die a virgin, and without a dad." X-Ray said in slight pain.

"What if I told ye, I be your father." The Corpirate said to him.

X-Ray perked up and his eyes started to sparkle, "Really? Papa?" He asked. I rolled my eyes as I slowly slipped the ropes off of me. "Of course not ye fool!" The Corpirate exclaimed before laughing and pointing the key at X-Ray. Before the energy blast could fire Vav kicked, while making a ninja noise, the Corpirate in the face making him let go of X-Ray.

X-Ray rubbed his head before giving Vav a thumbs up. "Nice kick buddy." He praised with a smile. Vav grinned back, "Thanks! I think my foot broken." He said with a frown at the end while looking down at his foot.
